Corticobasal syndrome (CBS) and progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) are the so-called movement disorders of FTD, causing a decline in motor function, with certain symptoms resembling those seen in Parkinson’s disease. But CBS and PSP can cause cognitive changes as well. In this session, Dr. Chi-Ying (Roy) Lin of Baylor College of Medicine provides an overview of these movement disorders, with an emphasis on how they fit into the broader FTD spectrum, including the ways they overlap with other FTD subtypes.
