I thought Goku would be part of Team Guy because of his martial arts and the weights he could wear for training.

Imagine if Goku met the 4 Tails Jinchūriki named Roshi. Then, find out he has a Tailed Beast inside him called, "Son Goku."

My big issue with this is that Chakra and Ki are both spiritual types of energy. Both rely on the user having incredible physical prowess and spiritual reserves to increase the amount they have at their disposal and both are used to augment physical abilities and produce energy based attacks. They also both exist in all living things to varying degrees. That said, I think Goku could use Ninjutsu and Genjutsu though he would favor the former more than the latter since Genjutsu relies more on brains instead of brawns.

We know that Goku didn't unlock Super Saiyan when Krillin died by the hands of Tamborine. So maybe he shouldn't have become Super Saiyan in your story until later. Just my 2 cents.

pretty nice video, love the story telling. The most important change I could think of would be that we are talking about kid Goku. As a kid he didn't know the importance of the human live so kid Goku killed a lot of his opponents. The personality shown here fits teen Goku or even young adult Goku (which could be explained by him being in a different world with other factors influencing him)

I think its weird he got SS so early he should have been more like he was in the RR army arch and piccolo archs. He had way more trama in the Piccolo archs than haku killing one friend also piccolo/king piccolo was pretty close most of the time to the strongest naruto enemies Madara /Kaguya etc. I don't think they need to nerf goku at this age just don't give him SS or the techniques he gets from king kai maybe not even the technique from Master Roshi.

This works on many levels. Goku being trained in martial arts by his grandpa Gohan fits perfectly

Final comment is I agree on the idea the SS was too early because kriton did die in Dragon Ball and Goku just got really mad no SS at 12 or 16 whatever it was. But running it back and changing that and possibly give a reason goku wants to train his mind, I think this would be a great one to continue through

Like you said, giving goku super saiyan is a bit over the top, instead of that you could have gone for the wrathful form, it's like the one broly have when he fought vegeta in the movie, they stated that he was using the great ape power in his base body. (+ I don't think he would have gone super saiyan for sasuke's death, since he didn't for krilin's in the early dragon ball) But really cool what if ! I'd see goku train under gai, since he's kind of a martial arts master

I think it'd be better if Goku got a rage boost or something after seeing Sasuke seemingly die. Kinda like in Path to Power when he saw Eighter due

Goku is 24 at the start of Z, not like 17. Goku and Vegeta tag teamed Jiren. Goku and Piccolo tag teamed Raditz, e.c.t. so Goku is good at working in teams. Goku will work together if the opponent far surpasses him. Also, the Land of Waves mission would have to be taken by someone else since it takes a year to redo the Genin exam. Goku would have learned that Sakura is a girl by touching her private parts and Grandpa Gohan taught him to be nice to girls so Sakura's anger doesn't make sense. Goku didn't learn to use his ki until he saw the Kamehameha so, unless Jiraiya returned to Konoha randomly and had a fight, Goku would not be able to make anything similar to a Rasengan. The Power Pole would not exist because it was made to get up to Kami's lookout from Korin's tower. The Oozaru towers above the trees so the Konoha ninjas would have seen him since he has transformed into it twice. Goku is 11 at the start of the show, not 12. Goku and Gohan would have got kicked out of the Forest of Death during one of the Chunin Exams if they were seen. A Great Ape can only be calmed down with the removal of a tail. Goku didn't have a high enough base strength to go SSJ until Namek because he didn't go SSJ when Krillin died in the Demon King Piccolo Arc when he was much stronger, it would have made more sense for him to go Ikari like against Demon King Piccolo. Ki is literally chakra as it is referred to as chakra in some places. With you saying that ki is not chakrs Neji would not see anything within Goku. Goku surpassed Saitama when he went SSJ3 against Fat Buu. Goku trained his tail to no longer be a weakness right after it was pulled as shown in Goku Vs Krillin so Sasuke couldn't exploit that. Goku would have horrendous ki control due to having no masters and wouldn't be able to control SSJ without the help of the Yardratians. Gohan wouldn't have recently died if he was never trained by Roshi as he would've died upon Goku's first transformation into the Oozaru. Goku being 50X stronger than a Chunin in the Land of Waves in SSJ, the training for like 2 months means that his tail along with his ki shield would be too durable for Neji and Sasuke to squeeze and he'd not be in that Chunin exams as he'd have to wait a year since Kakashi failed Team 7. Also, Sasuke would've been kidnapped during the year wait and Goku would likely be killed. Post Goku's training he'd surpass the entirety of Kaara, let alone the Akatsuki but it would be interesting to see him struggle with his ki control.

Bulma shot Goku in the face with either a 9 mm or 45 ACP in the first episode of Dragon Ball when Goku was about 12 to 15. Ninjas in the Naruto universe are easily wounded by knives daggers etc. especially in their younger years. Making this one to one would be near impossible

Cool concept and nice video, but the one thing that tripped me up a bit is how you kinda waivered a little on how Goku didn't have chakra at all but somehow still had all the weaknesses that only come along with having chakra? You said that Goku would be impacted by Sasuke's genjutsu while in his Great Ape form and ultimately be able to break out, but genjutsu is typically an attack on the chakra system in order to take hold, so this wouldn't make much sense. Whether you subscribe to the idea that people without chakra can be put under genjutsu or not, it wouldn't have played out like that in either scenario; if you consider that he can be put under genjutsu even without chakra, he would never have been able to break out as the only way to do so is either to be aware that you are under a genjutsu, something he would be unable to do without even knowing what genjutsu is, or have your chakra network disrupted, either by yourself or a third party, which is also not possible as he doesn't have one. So he would be insta-locked into genjutsu with no way to break out until the caster decided to dispel it. On the flip side, as the portion of the community that believe that people/creatures without chakra cannot be impacted by genjutsu (aside from IT, God Tree, etc, which Sasuke definitely was not using at this point) then his genjutsu would have done absolutely nothing against Goku in the first place. Either way, Sasuke's genjutsu would have either absolutely stopped him in his tracks, or done absolutely nothing. The way you explained it was that it worked initially and did impact Goku in some way, he just had enough hax to break out of it I guess? I don't know. Then again in his fight with Neji. Neji would definitely have the advantage in terms of tactical ability and battlefield prowess, but the critical thing about 8 trigrams is that it attacks the chakra network points, tenketsu, in order to shut it down which in turn makes the opposing nin unable to access their chakra and makes it difficult or impossible for them to move and its game over from there. The punches themselves do pack a nasty hit, but nothing particularly strong, certainly not strong enough to beat SS Goku in any capacity, as it would have none of the tiring or immobilizing effects since he doesn't have a chakra network. He'd essentially just be getting punched mildly hard all over which would just piss him off or fire him up more. Neji would absolutely get trounced in this situation if Goku has no chakra. Again, awesome video and I love the concept, just noticed this in watching and thought it was a bit inconsistent, not trying to nitpick though! I get the general idea of what you were going for though and I know this is only a "what-if" anyway, just figured I'd point it out and see if anyone else noticed it and thought the same! Cheers! *edit* Also wanted to add for the record, I'm not a crazy Goku purist who thinks he can absolutely demolish anything if he was dropped into any verse, not even a big Dragon Ball fan really, I just think given what was established in the video it doesn't make sense. If you likened Goku's ki to chakra then my whole point would be invalid, but you stated multiple times that he doesn't have chakra. Just wanted to throw that in there to avoid the inevitable "GOKU FANBOY GO BRRRRRR" response lol

Here’s a idea for you!! What if the Naruto world was the planet Goku landed on as a baby!! His pod landed on the outskirts of the village on the night Naruto was born. All the same things happen only Goku is there. After 9 tails is sealed in baby Naruto little baby Goku is brought to lord 3rd. And he chooses that both boys he will look after meaning later on as an exception team 7 will have 4 team mates on it. Naruto Goku Saska & Sokura with Kakashi as team leader!! Why because basically these two grew up together to become like brothers. & because of that they actually help train each other’s skills!!
