I think some ppl "sleep" on Tae's voice bc some ppl only focus on high notes. Tae adds a lot of texture in BTS songs. His range is able to "texturize" their songs from his baritone voice to falsetto… he just keeps on proving what an outstanding vocalist he is, the absolutely blissful voice, the stability in his live vocals and his heartfelt singing, really reaches people.

I also love Taehyung's voice the most. I am particularly leaning towards baritones. I think singing higher tones can be professionally studied but the husky tone of a baritone is more difficult to duplicate much less sustain in a live performance. Plus Taetae's unique tone is something else. His voice is like always telling you a story - even if it is just a single line - it is always gripping you, and making you beg for more. His emotive visuals is the crown but even without it - just listen to him sing in hush, in falsetto, in his normal speaking voice and even in his aegyo, you can almost picture exactly what he wants you to see & feel. That is his gift - he makes his listeners empathize.

When I first listened to BTS and couldn't differentiate between the seven of them and didn't know exactly where to focus, at that time Tae's voice struck me like a lightning and still now I'm not recovered from it and honestly I don 't want to.👌💜

Just to let you know, in the opening scene when he was singing along to his song “Snow Flower,” he had photos of himself on the wall because he did a V Live on his birthday. I think the staff or the boys decorated the room with his photos. All the guys get that treatment on their bdays if they go into the office. When I first listened to BTS three years ago, I couldn't tell their voices but a soulful voice like an R&B black singer captivated me (I consider the Blacks are the best singers in the world; e.g. Beyonce, Whitney Houston, etc). And of course that's the voice of Taehyung. As an Asian, I dare say that such a soulful voice is rarely found in Asia. And when I listen to his indie songs Winter Bear, I wans further mesmerized by his honey vocals that are so soothing. Tae has a very wide vocal range, and his vocals are versatile. I loved the video. I love Taehyung's lower register vocals. I love that I can tell who is singing now. Their vocals are so unique. Even the rap line can sing beautifully. How is this even possible? I agree, not enough Americans know about BTS; they do not know what they are missing. I have to be grateful for having COVID or I would have never found BTS. (I watched a lot of KZfaq dance videos while recovering). Jimin brought me to BTS and I do not think I have gone a day without watching multiple videos of theirs. Their talent is through the roof.
