When people say Blackpink can't sing, I play this for them. Those harmonies are so smooth, and each of their voices adds something distinct to the performance: Jisoo's soothing, smoky foundation; Jennie's rich, powerful chest voice; Rose's runs and angelic high notes; and Lisa's swag and energy - and Lisa & Jennie handing off the verses at the end.

I love how you noticed Jisoo's deep, soulful voice. This performance showed that even with the least lines and singing time, she still makes her presence known very well.

I've always LOVED Jisoo on this one. Rose gets most of the attention for her voice on most of their own songs but Jisoo's got a great singing voice for a song like this. Just so soulful-sounding.

They used to sing this during their trainee days. YG himself (head of their entertainment co) was very impressed! He is known to be very hard to please! This performance at Party People, which is JYP’s show (JYP is a rival entertainment co) was done in 2017, a year after BlackPink’s debut. Fyi, that’s JYP on the right!

Songs where Lisa sings: Forever Young, Hope Not, Don’t Know What To Do, You Never Know… all of these have live performances. I suggest “Hope Not”… its a ballad so the song showcases their voices & there no rap parts in the song. Among all the Blackpink songs. I think this is the song where Lisa sings the most

Blackpink is a unique group because their voices are so different from each other, like SO DIFFERENT! Like three out of the four members have voices which are so unique that not everyone will like it, but everyone will notice. Jennie has such an ideal voice. And I was actually surprised when you joined the fandom like 5-6 years ago, when I heard them one by one, how is it possible for someone to harmonise when you have such distinct voices? But when I heard them...my mind was like "BOOM"

Rosé is first language is English. She was raised in Australia that's why she's fluent Jennie studied and lived in New Zealand for 6 years that's why she's Fluent in English

They are really versatile and it's as if they do their own version for the songs they cover. They have a lot of live performances of their songs which you can react to as well. Also, Rosé is the Blackpink member who has quite a lot of cover songs such as Slow Dancing in the Burning Room by John Mayer, Eyes Closed by Halsey, The Only Exception by Paramore, If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys, Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat, and Read My Mind by The Killers. I recommend two covers, one they did live, on a radio, Bigbang's "Loser", you can't get more raw than that. The other is "So hot" from Wondergirls, in this one the also change the rap part. Loser is one of the greatest kpop lyrics, remains Radiohesd's "Creep". So Hot, the raps are in english, but the korean lyrics are funny.

It's not a cover but the "BLACKPINK - SEE U LATER -KR Ver.- [LIVE](（MAKUHARI MESSE EVENT HALL[2018.08.26] ))" live performance is probably my favorite. Their onstage chemistry and charisma is through the roof.
