When I first watched the music video, it felt really uncomfortable. Like it was glorifying pedophilia but the more I watched it (and getting context that this was a fantasy) it kind of makes me think it's really about the never ending quest for immortalizing the self through reproduction. The masculine energy craves the feminine energy on a biological level, but must continuously improve in order to be worthy of it. Hence, why the feminine entity in the video keeps pushing the masculine away from her and each time he crawls back to her, he's a little more worn but you can tell he's learned something new. Both feminine and masculine are two sides of the same coin in all of life, time, space and in order to truly live on, we cast ourselves into the memories of others-- who eventually, will bring us back around to the end and beginning of the universe. I don't know if that makes a ton of sense but it makes sense to me haha. Beautiful video and great work.
