Starlink Internet! | S2 EP 19 | Building 2 story Home

Our SpaceX Starlink Satellite Internet has arrived. Yes, that's right. We may not have electricity but we have Internet 🤣. Week 20 We made alot of small progress on little projects. Now in week 21 we turn on the burners and we will be blazing ahead with our 2nd floor and our STÄRKEN AAC Installation as well as our roof Installation.
I guess for those who read this and want to learn more.
Our roof is made out of 2x2x1/4 Steel sandwiched together and welded to form our roof trusses. We then will be using 2x3 tubular metal to span the trusses instead of the traditional 2x3 c purlin. We are doing this to add more support to our roof after seeing what typhoons do to the actually c purlin.

the Armstrong family is one of the sincere families that have opened up about building houses and have opened up their whole family life to us. i pray in the future i can have them build my house as well.. im already making plans as early as now. i do not think they put ads in videos that wouldnt benefit everyones knowledge. but hey, like they say, you arent doing something right until someone says your doing it wrong.

Hello Amstrong family, I have never think I will follow a family how is building a house, just find your video and click on it. And what a surprice it was. You do not only build you are a fantastic teacher. What you do for yourself, the people of the Phillypines and the Internet followers is super in my oppinion. Why even pay attention to some of these viewers that complain about paid promotions ads, it's your prerogative and it's their choice to skip or change the channel, it boggles my mind. You the go for your house anyone else can just mind their own and stay in their own lane. The build is coming along nicely, I love that you are particular about every detail and all the equipment aswell as products that you use it’s useful information for others who are building there or anywhere really. You take everything into consideration and have taken from your build and adopted where you want or need in this build. You’re also teaching good solid work ethics and teaching good skills. For Starlink; I think the Long cable goes between the Dish and the Modem, so that the Modem is brought indoors.. I don't believe it's weather-proof... Starlink I'm still on the fence about Starlink, since it is pricier than my Globe Internet service, which gives me higher speeds.. If I had lots of money, it would make a good backup, but you can do backups with 4g solutions too... Best of Luck, house is looking really good..!

Hey Richard, I see that you and the crew are doing a great job. Everything looks wonderful and on time.. I know Donna and Ella love you for many reasons and rightly so, including your sensitivity and compassion. One thing I have learned in my 58 yrs of doing painting, electrical and landscaping and a variety of other jobs. Once I stopped worrying about pleasing the masses my stress level and blood pressure decreased dramatically. Again great job. Keep the wonderful video's coming. I cannot wait to see the final. Be very careful, pulling out and putting in the fittings on Starlink. They are very fragile and have caused a lot of people a lot of headache. Also, the company’s name is SpaceX. :)

Thanks for sharing your progress. I might have missed it but how much does starlink cost a month in the Philippines? It's crazy to see the differences between countries. Columbia is around $27 usd a month compared to the $110 in the USA. I never understand why people get upset when creators do paid promotions. Thats how tv works. Why can't you earn money for the time and energy you put into filming, editing, etc? You can tell when a channel just does it for the money. Still nothing wrong with making money. 👍 Like you said if the few people that complain and don't like it they don't have to watch it. They can call 1800-cry-alot😢😮😊😂

You just have so much dang knowledge when it comes to all this stuff. Too bad you are not closer to Amadeo, I would hire you as a foreman to do some bi-weekly oversight on our build next year. I love how you have your deep well in the room with your washing machine and everything. I have seen several expats doing builds and using the EcoFlow and have budgeted the system for purchase the month before ground breaking. The Power station, solar panel and second battery. This product seems to have worked great for everyone that has shown it on their vlogs, so I am sold on it. BTW my wife is asking what model drone do you use for your overhead shots?

Richard, I was already interested in making the big move to the Philippines from the States myself, but after watching your videos I've grown 1000% more inspired to make the move. I'm looking to do exactly what the two of you are doing which is to purchase a plot of land and build, but I'm completely lost and I don't know exactly where to start. Yes. Cannot extend over the property line! Must be a cantilever extending inwards and most of the pressure is feom outside! And backfilling inside
