When DeathRow came to NYC for the MTV awards they came with anywhere from 65-100 people. Badboy should have done something similar when they came to LA. Not 65-100 people because that`s way too costly but have enough security to surround Big at all times. And get up out of there as soon as possible like MC Eiht said. Biggie got booe`d at the Soul Train awards, that`s a sign that it was not safe to be in LA and that they should leave as soon as possible. Biggie was supposed to leave to go to London after the Soul Train Awards, but him and Puff rolled the dice once more by staying in LA and going to a party. But this time the dice did not land on the right side.

Puffy and Biggie got comfortable and careless when they went out to LA. They thought it was cool because Pac was dead and Suge was in prison. Biggie went on the radio rapping lyrics from "Long Kiss Goodnight", which we all know was a diss to Pac. Then he presented an award at the Soul Train awards where he was booed. That's when they should have gotten the hell up out of LA, but no, they went to the Vibe party and it was the death of Biggie. The shame is that Biggie's body wasn't even cold when Puff got on a plane and flew to London. It shows how much he really cared about his "friend"! RIP Biggie

Its sad that Biggie and Pac had reached a level where even THEE Michael Jackson reached out to them for a collab, but both still succumbed to the very thing they tried to escape from through their music. Pac should have been blowing off steam on the beaches of Tahiti, and should Biggie should have been clubbing in London and Tokyo. As figureheads of the East-West Coast war I don't think any part of America was safe for them because so many people had something to gain from their deaths, which is exactly what happened.

I am not a Biggie fan, but he seems like a likable dude. I don't think he was trying to be tough. I think his Train of thought was "I'm gonna show up and have a good time" or what not. I think he wanted to squash East/West beef. And yes I believe "Who Shot Ya" was a diss track, but diss tracks have existed since the the beginning of hip hop. The Juice Crew never shot KRS 1. What put the final nail in the coffin with Biggie was (potentially) dissing 2pac after his death with that song "Long kiss goodnight" and then showing up to party in LA like everything is fine. Rappers from that New York area stay getting smoked in LA. I guess they see the Palm trees and think that shit is sweet. LA has the warmer weather than most of the rest of the country like Miami but has the gangsterism of Chicago.

Factz… the nail in the coffin was not when Big got on the radio station in LA, but when he decided to spit Long kiss Goodnight at said radio station. All those subliminal disses is what basically sealed his fate. Cocky and Arrogant is what is was if we’re being honest. He shoulda known better. Just MHO

Biggie's death was strategically put together by connected individuals and the truth will never surface and the facts won't ever come out...but I always felt like people from his own team played a part just as much as people in L.A. just from the way nobody got touched but him. A assassination put together so well collectively from his side and the enemies. He was the sacrificial lamb for them even being in LA. Somebody had to go because Pac was gone.

I always didn't get the part about biggies driver stopping when his mate driving puffy ran the lights wouldn't you do the same if you seen your mate running the red lights
