"Heaven Ain't Hard 2 Find" with 2Pac and Danny Boy was always the most underrated AEOM track to me. @@ctguniversal Thank you for pointing out the obvious thing that's too often glossed over. Most of the people who are charging him up for failing to handle his business probably also lacked the knowledge or capacity to handle THAT level of business at 15 or 16. If they'd been working for a snake like Suge, they'd be in the SAME predicament as Danny Boy. Most 15 year-olds (especially pre-internet kids) wouldn't even KNOW what questions to ask or demands to make in a business meeting full of adult executives, managers, lawyers, accountants, etc. It's easy for fully grown adults with lots of life experience and some education to say that he "should have handled business better." However, looking at this through the lens of a 15 or 16 year-old teenager...most kids that age have never paid any serious bills, rented or purchased a home or apartment, bought a car on their own, hired an accountant or lawyer on their own, never opened up a bank account, or never even possessed large sums of money to manage. Generally, one must be at least 18 to LEGALLY sign contracts on their own. So, I can't apply my grown man standard of handling business to a boy less than half my age. And every teenager doesn't have a savvy adult in their family to look out for their fiduciary interests. So kids in the business end up relying on their professional handlers, which is a major conflict of interest.

I like D Boy. He definitely has a right to be upset still to this Day. He’s owed $. For sure. I’m Glad He’s speaking up , because you can see that it’s actually helping Him get over it somewhat. Won’t even completely get over being owed that much $ , though, not until He has 11x that put up so that He doesn’t have to sweat it. Much Love D Boy. Afeni and Suge should have already paid you, over & over again.

Don't be too hard on yourself Danny, you were all kids then being taken advantage of. Yeah express it out, but don't let it keep boiling in you and affect your present. I wonder if Danny can still claim some royalties now. Lawyers know better.

He gets royalties for songs going forward, but when the songs were at their PEAK, he didn't. ASCAP/BMI and those companies have a statute of limitations on how far back you can go to get your royalties.
