This man is the most wonderful man out of everybody. That I have met that have rescue leagues or sanctuaries, or even your dog Trainers. I don't think all Dog trainers KNOW. what they're doing. The difference between you and them is that you have a connection naturally with dogs and animals. You're like a dog whisper There are horse whispers. Why wouldn't there be dog whispered? That's why I have never said anything to you. You about the kissing the dogs. When you first meet them, we all know that it's probably not a good idea. Yeah, but when a dog knows and they have those feelings, they know that you're a good person. I think you're fine and keep doing what you do best love your babies.

You're right, he should not change for other humans. Though, I'll say it's okay for Lee to change, in the sense he continues to evolve. He is one of many humans that have a gift that they've leaned into and continue to evolve. We can learn from him. ❤
@thekatherinewolff3 ай бұрын
@@melaniefowler8841 Just because they were right doesn't mean they're not hating. Even "right" opinion can be hateful and negative. What Lee does works. He reads the dogs in his own way. Is it unconventional? Yes, it is. And that's what people "hate" - that his way works for him. This can be applied with everything in life - just because there is a general "right" way to do something doesn't mean it works for all people, animals, situations etc. Just as Lee says - he doesn't advise anyone else to do it. He can, he does. Sometimes the unconventional way doesn't always imply that it's "wrong" or "bad". And pointing out something that someone does supposedly the "wrong" way can take away from the good their doing. There's no one way to help make the world a better place, be it the general world or individual animals world.

Lee admits that his way of greeting dogs is not right and doesn’t recommend it to anyone, in this video. It is not conventional and that’s why it is awesome. Other people (sounds like professional dog trainers)do know what they’re doing. Dogs intuitively know who is a good person. Lee obviously gives off good vibes. When I first saw my mini cavapoo at the rescue shelter she came in the room and completely ignored me. My brother was sat near me and she ran upto him and jumped on his lap😊. It took her another 10 minutes for her to eventually gravitate towards me, she looked up, jumped on my lap, snuggled close and nodded off whilst I gently stroked her🥹. She was sussing me out I suppose. She absolutely loves my brother, they have such a unique bond but he lives at the other side of town. He rings me up to say are you in? Yes..good because I'm coming to see her...not me😂. We stayed over at his place at Christmas and she cried when we left. She loves her mum but she absolutely adores him. I am so pleased that she has him in her life😊

You are the safe alpha dog for them, the leader of the pack. Your approach works for you. I am a short, older woman. It would not work for me. But when I rescued my senior visually impaired mini-poodle, she allowed me to pick her up and hold her within minutes of meeting her despite all the trauma she had endured. The bond is so strong now. I love watching your videos and following your work with the dogs. I especially respect the therapy work you are doing and the comments about your grief when you lose a dog. You said the key word "Energy". That's exactly how I do things especially with the animals. I get it an your exactly right. We must calm our energy an feel theirs. We all have our own ways. You are an earth angel Lee.

Never call yourself stupid! Or that you do stupid things! As someone who was called stupid a lot in the past, it's not good for your psyche. We can do things that maybe are strayed and not good to do but you are never stupid. We are human, perfectly imperfect and flawed. You have a beautiful, humble soul. It's okay to do flawed things and you are very good at acknowledging that. You are wonderful with your precious babies! I don't even notice if it's done wrong. The video of Moo is beautiful and the little smidgen that the Dodo showed did not show the entire video. Keep being you! It's beautiful! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

You have an immediate intuition with dogs that can't be taught. The dogs sense it; they use the same intuition to survive. This can't be taught, and so shouldn't be incorporated into the "proper" way of doing things, but Lee, you don't need to change a thing. Unless it's your belief in yourself and your knowingness that you are doing the right thing - for you and your rescues!

You do it because that's who you are. You're kind of a dog whisperer and the dog feels your love and kindness and it responds very quickly. You give off that vibe, not everyone could do it-but you can and you do. We trust you as much as the dogs do! ❤❤❤

Adopted a stray hound/gsd/Heinz 57 mix. We think she had a home before ending up on the streets by the way she, sometimes, responds to commands. But, however she ended up as a stray, & we don't know how long she was out there on her own, she now has "Stray dog PTSD". She started her life with us by biting through my thumb & nail, because I apparently crossed a boundary & she was uncomfortable. She also continues to be extremely reactive in a fearful/aggressive, "I'm gonna get you before you can get me" way when we're walking & she sees a small child, other dog, cat, or other animals. We've walked her with a muzzle ever since seeing this and continue to gently work with her & her reactivity. She just had her 1st gotcha day, and the miles she's come from when we first brought her home is remarkable. She still has a long way to go, but because she and our family have taken the gentle, patient approach of learning & respecting each other's boundaries, we are hopeful that she will continue to trust us & improve. She's yet another dog we kept because we were fairly certain that no one else would keep her. Every dog is different. There's nothing wrong with what you are doing Lee. You take time, patience, gentleness & love; and, you present it to the dog & allow them to accept it at their own pace. I learned that from you. Thank you for what you do.

Lee.....dogs are a great judge of character just remember that! Everyone has different ways of communicating with animals and shame on those so called trainers and people who think any different. Anyone who follows you knows how you are. I mean my God you are amazing in all your work that you have done. I'd like to see anyone else do the incredible things you do and have done. Not every tactic works with every animal. People need to stay in their lane. Don't let the negative Nancy's get in your head. You and your mission are what we need in this world. Positive vibes Lee always! God bless you😊

You are working from a very empathetic angle. You are working with what is going on inside that dog. It is how I approach everything. It is harder. But if it works it is strong and it creates a bond that can’t be matched. You are amazing.

Honestly, I love the way you meet dogs. I don't always kiss new fosters on the face at first meeting, but I certainly have before. It really speaks to how much love is in your heart for these babies, and that's too endearing to place judgement on. You're absolutely wonderful.

I don’t know what you’re gonna say, but I guess I can guess. Either way, it works for you. You have the instinct and intuition to know if your approach is overwhelming to the dog - it almost never is, which is pretty awesome now listen to what you have to say.
@noellofland92063 ай бұрын
Oh Lee. Sigh. I understand why you made this video, I really do. That said DON'T YOU DARE. Wrong, right, indifferent. How you "meet" a new dog is genuine. God gifted you will that, the ability to create that bond, to express your true self, for a scared animal to let down their defensives so quickly is truly beautiful. You being you IS why you had it in your heart to start The Asher House. It's a blessing. Yes, people won't understand. Yes, you did the right thing and cautioned others not to do as you do. But, you MUST be you. Never lose that childlike excitement.

Lee, do not change cuz of some stranger's media comments. You are incredible. You are an empathic person in the anti-empathic environment of social media. Anyone with a working brain knows this is how Lee Asher does it. You're unique and real in a fake environment, a warrior. Respect to you sir. The world needs your kind of innocent pure love and joy 😊
