There's a fine line between onstage improv and real-life emergencies.
George Salazar is heading to Broadway this spring in the new Joe Iconis and Joe Tracz musical ''Be More Chill''. But thanks to the show's off-Broadway run, he has already gotten a ''Be More Chill'' onstage disaster out of the way. What do you do when you need to send a castmate a real SOS but he thinks you're doing a fun bit? Salazar lived to tell the tale as our latest installment of Theater Gone Wrong.

I have this dumb theatre gone wrong story and it was at my drama kids play. Drama kids is an after school thing where you learn the basics of theatre and acting and it was really fun. Now, my character was an old man character and the joke was that I would walk super slow and almost seem like I was about to fall over. The entire cast was supposed to watch me and make sure I didn’t fall. Now, this play was about ants and stuff so the stage was littered with giant leaves. I was supposed to walk up down center stage with a fake limp. I slowly walked up to my spot and my cane went onto one of the leaves. The leaves weren’t attached to anything so my cane slipped on the leaf. Because I was literally depending on this cane to walk, I fell face first onto the stage. Two delightful actors came down to help me up and I said something along the lines of “we need to clean those leaves up, don’t we?” In character. So yeah, and the thing is the plays were a one time thing so I messed up the joke on my only try.

i did a version of a midsummer nights dream (sadly without zombies) and during the last show someone tripped and accidentally dropped the person they were carrying, someone tripped on the stairs at the beginning of their scene, a piece of a wooden sword broke when someone grabbed it and i almost got hit in the face, and during rehearsals for a sword fight the person playing demitrius accidentally hit the guy that was playing lysander in the eye with the sword.

Camille its fine to but don't take it too far. I mean I did ship them at first, but then when Gerard's fans discovered that he had a girlfriend, they started harassing them and such (so much for 'fans' am I right?) And his gf even had to change her phone number because the public had found it. I am most certainly not saying that it's bad to think that what they do is cute, because I do, there's quite a bit of relationship/sexual tension in the air. Just that please don't be one of the people who get pissed that Gerard and George aren't dating. Sorry if this sounded really snotty, I did not intend for it to come out like that. What they do is a cute and funny friend ship and they'll keep it like that.
