Man, out of all the big KZfaq movie reviewers, you were the one that inspired me to pick up the camera and do my own reviews...and I'm loving it! Thanks for showing off the FlickCave John. Love all the posters....I'm a huge Rocky and Hulk fan as well. Oh, and I need that Nightcrawler poster...my favorite movie of last year. Thank God for movies!

Hopefully I have the funds necessary to create something like this for myself some day. Also, killer explanation of why you collect movies. It really does come down to the psychology behind why that particular movie connected with you and you wanting to revisit that feeling again. Awesome stuff as always.

The Flick Cave rocks, dude! Love that bathroom. Nothing could be better and more inspirational than to stare at the Bat symbol while... you know, you're handling your business. Now, I don't know if this will look tacky in your eyes, but maybe you can move your Kick-Ass poster to the left a bit and Watchmen to the right, and sandwich Nightcrawler in between. Or hang it on the door to the bathroom.

I'm with ya, John. I just recently got a 4K TV (a cheaper one), but I still think my plasma from about ten years ago looks better than just about any TV there. Will probably look into an OLED or whatever the top of the line equivalent is whenever my plasma eventually bites the dust.

One of the tvs my parents have is a Phillips with a built in led lighting system on the back called ambilight. I don't think the ambilight was a big factor in the decision to buy that model but everyone likes it so much they wanted to get another one even though Philips doesn't seem to make them anymore. It was great because it could be set to change colors based on the dominant colors on the screen or could just remain one certain ambient color. It made watching tv in a dark room much more enjoyable and immersive plus the picture quality was great

Hey john I completely agree with you about plasma screens led and lcd are great for the living room and stuff but when it comes to movies it's all about plasma. I will say I have recently upgraded to a home cinema projector and it's just a little more of the whole experience and if you get a good one it looks even better than plasma I absolutely love it
