The first time i watched this as a high school kid back in 2007 I just thought it wasn’t possible to be cooler than these guys were. 16 years later I’m still not sure it’s possible. One of the best live DVDs of any band.

Avenged Sevenfold live in LBC is they greatest performance ever ! If you see from first song "Critical Acclaim" and "Second Heartbeat" is more more scream and perfect energy's 👍 I'll suggest you to watch this perform full version 👍

Shadows had 2 different times when he had vocal issues. Around 2004 he had to have vocal surgery and rehab because some pollups appeared on his vocal cords due to his improper screaming technique. LBC was filmed in 2008. His 2nd vocal issue popped up around 2018, so he had to take a rest and heal. Difference between the 2 being there was a significant vocal style change after the 1st but nothing much happened after the 2nd.

You need to do Roman Sky live at the Grammy museum,it was in 2017. So you get a taste of his voice recently. This performance the lbc was after he had his first voice issue's

He sings mostly when inhaling is what you’re confused about. He has his best grit when inhaling via the compression technique Ron Anderson taught him. So unless he is going for his highest notes (compression technique restricts your upper range), then you won’t hear him inhaling. Well I suppose you can hear him slowly inhaling, it’s the actual singing.

i,ve seen A7X live three times so far, and never been disappointed.. they put on one of the best rock shows i've ever seen. this whole concert is here on y.t., and definitely worth watching.. also, if you want some behind the scenes with their original lineup (RIP Rev.), they recorded videos of the making of their self titled album, which can be watched on here too, either individually or as one long vid

I guess the one caveat with the lbc dvd is that there's some pitch correction in the post production. Still Matt's voice is killer live, makes me want a version of this dvd without all the studio magic.

He was telling the crowd in Long Beach that he wanted to see a circle to start a mosh pit which is very common at a metal concert. It’s kind of like a ritualistic dance that everybody moves to the beat of the music in a circle.

Sooooo.... I was actually at the concert. It was the most epic live show I've ever seen. Also, they kinda show it in the video, but sinister gates played like 90% of the outro to the song with one hand

Seen them years later during the tour for Nightmare. The supporting band was Stone Sour. It was a good show. Not as epic as Live from the LBC (Long Beach County) show but still awesome.

Funny story when I was just out of high school my group of friends went to our local mall every Friday night. I have been fairly heavily tattooed since I was like 20 and one Friday right around when A7X came out with an album I thought it would be funny to dress like M Shadows to go to the mall, Trucker hat over a bandana and aviator glasses, cut off black shirt and black skinny jeans. I had at least 5 girls come up and ask me for an autograph while we were in FYE because they thought I was him and there to promote the album 😂😂😂
