Here’s just a few moments from our weekend. It was a very warm weekend. We worked but also had a restful weekend after such a big week last week. Saturday in the middle of the day, we all just stayed in the air conditioning. The doggies love day naps inside all together.
Luke spent quite a bit of time with Cruiser. Helping him settle in. He was so scared. Luke knew he had to fast track a little so that Cruiser could join the pack so they could help him.
We haven’t talked much about Cruiser yet and his story. We will, we’ve just been busy catching up. Whilst he is a Dingo, he’s a rescue, who needed a special home … and this pack of dogs, animals, some are like Cruiser they didn’t fit anywhere either. They understand what it’s like and warmly welcome Cruiser to the farm.

I adore hearing the little grumbles amongst the pack; most loving w/an occasional ‘leave me alone you’re driving me crazy’. It’s like a big family Thanksgiving dinner of humans where everyone gets along and loves each other but inevitably a squabble starts somewhere 😂

We are so privileged to see Luke work with a purebred Dingo. Most of us won't see pure bred dingos in the bush unless we live in remote Northern Territory and Northern WA. There are lots elsewhere (and the farm has one), but they are secretive. Last year, in desert country at Sunrise, watching a Dingo who looked like Cruiser took me back thousands of years! And we are going to watch Cruiser live his best life!

Cruiser seems to be gaining more confidence and trust with Luke and the other dogs were Angels watching and waiting with interest for him at his bedroom door. Its a privilege to watch and learn from Luke with this beautiful boy. Thank Sam and Luke for everything you do, this video warmed my heart. Love and gratitude from Anglesey UK. Xx💓💓🙋

Aunty Sam, in an upcoming video when you talk more about Cruiser’s rehab it’d be interesting to learn Uncle Luke’s vision for how a dingo is trained differently than a typical dog or aggressive stray. We’ve learned so much about Abra needing a different training style, this would also be interesting. Thanks for all you do ❤

@@TheFarmForDogs I think it would be great for Luke to explain the training differences as well as general differences between a Dingo as a pet vs a standard family dog. Are there specific nutritional needs, medical issues, mental, environment, etc? This will be an amazing journey. Thank you for being you. 😊

Just look at Abra, the walk, interaction with Cruiser and the hose Games. Well done Abra. Cruiser, I watched your tail go higher and higher and what was so beautiful was his level of fear I saw yesterday was not present. Imagine what it would be like to be that frightened. It is paralysing. I am a happy girl tonight. Thank you to Luke, Sam and most importantly The Pack. 🐶🐾💗🇦🇺

Thank you for this. I am one who knew absolutely nothing about Dingos. My first impression was “whoa, those teeth are scary”. But cruiser is beautiful and to see him interact with the pack was beautiful. I look forward to learning more about them! He looks like he’s part fox, with his ears and tail.

I was lucky to live with 2 Kimberly desert dingo first cross with cattle dog. They loved to give nibbles to your arm pits and elbows similar to flea grooming. Also pushed their heads between us to do a group hug cuddle. They loved their own people. The stillness came out when camping, they would lie behind a dune or ridge and watch us humans. Only their ear tips and muzzle would show. Also would conserve energy on beach walks, no cavorting, only that mile eating lope. Unless they were on a hunt. During the wet season they would go off for days and only come back to an exhausted sleep and eat fitfully. Lost so much weight, very distracted. It was annual breeding season. Amazing dogs.

Of course Miss "Danger" Violet is the first to stick her nose in the crack of the door toward Cruiser. Bless her soul! All eyes were on Luke waiting for their cues. Cruiser is doing so well so quickly. What a great video of the whole family.

Abra you may be a land shark with the dogs but that Kitty Beast mode will keep you in line!😂🐈‍⬛ Great to see Cruiser out with the pack..and we agree Cruiser,Freddo is a special bear with calming qualities. That tail wag was beautiful 💕

Saw this just as soon as i went online, Cruiser is blessed to be instantly adopted by the Evans family. I really hope they'll adopt Rover too, who has jelled well with the pack and is so at home in the Farm.

Oh that Ms Violet!!! I had to just laugh out loud. When Luke made the sign for her to quit that barking at Cruiser, it's like she didn't like that, so she just decided to turn around and leave. That Princess never ceases being so funny.. Also little girl has become quite the mermaid too.

The doggies all seem to have the grumbles this morning. Cruiser is such a beautiful dog with some very fox like features. He's got the softest eyes and already trusting Luke. I love that Sam saw his story and didn't hesitate to apply for him to come home to the Farm 🥲🥰

What a difference 24 hours makes! I think we can now, officially, call Luke the Dingo Whisperer! I loved seeing Cruiser’s tail flying high! Evie had me cracking up as she piled all that sand onto Wolfie. She’s so sassy! And there is positively nothing cuter than Wolfie’s barks and howl! Aawooo!! Be still my heart!! 😍🥰😘

Dingoes are very intelligent but quite headstrong. It takes a very special person to train a dingo. I was lucky enough to meet a dingo trainer who owned a dingo farm in Victoria. He used to train them for film and tv work. I went to the farm and met all the dingoes. I just loved them. Unfortunately, the old man passed away, which left the dingoes vulnerable, and euthanasia for all of them was considered. Fortunately, a couple with wildlife experience, and a love of dingoes, stepped in and purchased the farm, hence saving all the dingoes.

I hope in time Cruiser will be able to put the past behind him, like his brothers and sisters have or are trying to, and live his days with love, guidance and to never feel alone and frightened again. My goodness! What a difference already, and only a day? So good to watch Cruiser with his tail up and wagging a lot of the time. Luke and the pack working their magic. He's doing well in such a short space of time. Wolfie makes me laugh with the hose, and the dogs love it... A squirt for them, a squirt for him.😂

@@EllieTheWheaten I love Luke's unique ability to understand each dog at every level, just talking, observing and knowing what they're thinking to gain their trust and being able to anticipate their moves is quite phenomenal. So I suppose taking off the muzzle is no surprise considering Luke's natural skill and talent as a dog whisper/trainer. But like you, I thought wow!! 😮

Cruiser’s features are strikingly beautiful. His face and snoot have the poise and alertness of Bella and Koda, w/o the facial fur, the hidden muscular structure of Nevaeh and Tank & ChopChop and the bushy tail of a fox. He also seems to have an undeveloped sweet personality (behind those dino teeth) of Shadow 🤔🥰

It’s nice knowing that all the daycare owners loved their ‘kids’ so much that you just know their living their best life. Says a lot about the Evans that whether daycare or foster, they bring out the best in all the animals’s personalities 🥰

It seems like just a moment that Cruiser went from nervous to relaxed and Abra started behaving herself again, but I bet Luke has been with them about 20 hours each day. Luke makes this all seem so magical, and we are so grateful to be a watchful part of the process! 👍Debra

Amazing seeing how. much Cruiser has learned to trust Luke and seemingly the pack in such a short time. KR does not take any gruff from anyone. I had to laugh seeing her hiss at Abra? Lily is such a sweetie and Wolfie is hysterical with that hose and the doggies.Good boy Freddo welcoming Cruiser. I hope you all had as restful of a day as. possible. 🐶😻❤

Cruiser is the first Dingo I have ever seen outside of pictures and what an absolutely beautiful animal! Very domestic dog like but also not. I will want to learn more about the ways they are related and different. Off to Google I go, and hopefully Luke can speak to this at some point too. Well done to Cruiser and to The Pack! ❤

I loved the welcoming committee gathered at the glass door to greet Cruiser ❤ Wolfie and his howl, glorious, and he just loves that hose. So cute in his wettie. 🥰

Abra tries so hard to be mischievous but when kitty is in the room, Abra seems unsure.....kitty rules lol Wolfe is definitely a pack member with that cute howl.

Abra barking like a grown man. Tank was like, "little one you don't know about my resource guarding. " Matilda was saying "Fine! I didn't want this broken Frisbee anyway! ..trying to make it up this pack structure and this one comes in"

The kids are such fun to watch. Evie plastering Wolfie with wet sand is absolutely hilarious! Seems like Cruiser and the pack did really well on his first outing. I continue to be in awe at how much skill Luke has with Cruiser and the pack. Such a healing pack. Thank you for another wonderful peek into life on the farm.

Watching Cruiser reminded me of Faith & Hope when they arrived at the Farm. How terrified must they have been? When you see Hope now, licking, loving & jumping on Sam you realise just how far she has come. RIP, Faith. Cruiser's journey to trust seems likely to be much faster than Hope's which is great. The rehabilitation journey each new dog undertakes sees me soaking up information like a sponge. The more you & Luke share, Sam, the more engrossed I become. I'm one truly addicted fan and wouldn't have it any other way. You both give so much to the dogs and in doing so, you are helping many of us in ways we never thought possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Ahhh the magic of the pack! I love the way Cruisers tail started wagging when he ran into Freddo. Who's wouldn't?? I also enjoy the puppy clumsiness of Abra!!

Always love how the kids are allowed to play n the sand, the dirt just play anywhere that's safe for them, with out Luke and Sam saying oh don't get dirty or get your clothes dirty. They learn and experience so much with the environment when they are little. Love the freedom Wolfie and the girls have.

Every day I come to The Farm to have my shout of humanity and pure love. To be inspired too with you, Luke and Sam. I am often in tears watching you. Every day my respect grows. You are extraordinary examples of humanity. Beautiful! And what a pack! Wonderful!!

"This will be the best thing that I'll ever know" absolutely sums up I feel , from the way cruiser was displaying in his body language. This gig is the bomb. A well balanced pack as Luke said , 100% is the magic ingredient. Oh yeah, LOVED how Abra knew that it was cruisers time, one on one per say, otherwise she is the velcro girl. Impressive .It's going to be great watching things move forward.xxx

Lions, Tigers and Bears! Oh my! Or Lily, Roscoe and Freddo's! Oh My! Cruiser is so beautiful and right where he needs to be. Awesome to see Cruiser's tail come up after being in a pack that is well balanced. Kitty Rose is Queen of the house and Rover and Abra will learn. Wolfie playing in the water with Lily, Tilly, Matilda & Abra. Then he gets Mum with the water too. What a fun weekend.

Wolfie has definitely mastered the hose - he gets such a big grin on his face when he hits Sam with a water stream. Little Abra playing her own water game in the pond - splash and bite the water - was so sweet. Loved how Hope is pushing in for love, and especially how she fell asleep on Sam’s foot. Cruiser seemed to be easing up a bit with the dogs. Impressive destruction of his bed - not sure if that is a statement of anything, but definitely a very thorough job. He seemed to handle the bush walk well, as he got into a traveling frame of mind and just kind of moved along with all the others - his tail was not between his legs for what seemed to be a fair amount of time on the walk and playground time.

Cruiser is a handsome boy and looks to be on his way to being part of the pack. Wolfric and his hose is so funny. Darling children. I keep waiting for Chance to come bounding through with his big smile, but it looks like he's settling in with Nevaeh, Fred, and his new mom. Great family day with all. 💜🐶❤️

Wow, Lily has found her roar! Priceless! ❤️ I'm always impressed by Luke's boundless patience and calmness with the dogs when training but I think he has excelled himself with Cruiser. I was teary at the sadness in Cruiser's eyes but between Luke and the wonderful pack his tail went up high and proud. So wonderful to see so then I was teary with relief. Such a sook 😄Abra is growing so quickly. Poor Cutie really needs her Kung Fu Panda skills when she's around! 😁

Oh my goodness, when Luke cracked the door, I was so nervous that I could barely breathe. It breaks my heart to see a dog so scared, so when Cruiser’s tail rose on the walk, so did my spirit. Luke, you are so wonderful with these frightened, mistreated, and misunderstood precious creatures….like sitting on a floor communicating an accepting, non-threatening environment. Instead of being defensive, Cruiser can just be. I love the farm and the family …. Thank you.

The Pack must think of Abra being the annoying and entitled little sister with her behaviour when Luke is not around ... Oh boy, she doesn't know what is going to happen when Luke is starting the serious training with her😉Lily is very smart copying Rosco's roaring😊It's going to be fascinating to watch Luke train Abra and Cruiser, and we all get to learn more about dingoes. Our Australian Dingo is a beautiful dog who lives in a pack environment depending on where they come from in Australia. I hope the teenagers who took him from his family need a good kick up their backsides. I totally believe Luke can train Cruiser when he settles down. He is already interacting calmly and is listening to Luke. All fingers crossed that his rehabilitation goes as smoothly as possible.

Cruiser will be just fine in a week or two! Instinctually he needs a the pack more than anyone so he’ll thrive I should imagine! Especially with Luke as pack leader! Wolfie with the hosepipe is hilarious! ❤❤❤
