That's the planned date for first plasma, but they won't be starting deuterium-tritium plasmas until 2035 at the earliest, and it may be a good few years then before there are any legitimately world-changing results. All of this is liable to be delayed as well. It's a big project that's going to take a while to really pay dividends.
