Diamonds are controlled heavily to make you think they are rare, they are rare in finding, but there is unbelievably lodes of diamonds ranging from different quality levels, they are very much abundant, taking into consideration of how long diamonds have been minded and in circulation over the past. Diamond Diamond is a form of the element carbon with its atoms arranged in a crystal structure called diamond cubic. At room temperature and pressure, another solid form of carbon known as graphite is the chemically stable form of carbon, but diamond almost never converts to it. Diamond has the highest hardness and thermal conductivity of any natural material, properties that are utilized in major industrial applications such as cutting and polishing tools. They are also the reason that diamond anvil cells can subject materials to pressures found deep in the Earth.

Diamonds are made from high pressure and 150km in depth! So remember this: in order to become the diamond among the people on earth, you need to be wanting to be under pressure and in depth! Most people are doing just enough to survive in this world and care about being happy most of the time, but to be a diamond you need to understand happiness is not what you think it is, happiness is what you need to do in order to become the person you want to become, so if you're gonna be under pressure remember you're becoming a diamond and that's happiness! Alot of people don't want to climb the lather in a company due to the pressure and responsibilities it takes, but do you want to become a diamond or no? Do you want to have your own buisness and scale it up in the future? Then go and speak responsibilities and pressure to have on yourself! Because that is what I'm doing! And if you're not doing it, do not hate or complain on the people who worked hard and is rich!

William Lamb in this clip seems extremely passionate about the industry, product, and cause. You can see him get amped when talking about the good the mines do! Interestingly, when I first saw the part in the clip where they show the diamond mine, I felt saddened they were using the earth. As a result, I felt detractive towards the decision to mine and anyone associated to it. While I experienced a fleeting moment of self-righteousness, I quickly realized that this is no different from what we do to our own land. As of October 2012, Australia had 405 mines. If I accept mining in my own land to support my requirements of power and water, how am I to see the practice any different elsewhere. Thank you, Africa, for helping me realize the truth. While I don't know the details about the impact both positive and negative of mining, I am eager to learn more and would appreciate if anyone has any good resources? Peace

A polished and cut diamond disperses the light and we see colours glitter, known as “fire”. The white light that makes them sparkle is called “brilliance.” Even though the rocks are often overvalued, it takes a real craftsman to cut a diamond to maximise the fire and brilliance it creates. It wasn’t until 1919 that the “round brilliant” cut was formed that has become the favourite for engagement rings. I’m interested in the craftsman side of things, not the status they bring.

Prior to mining diamonds it first is explored to estimate the size of the Kimberlite pipe on average they could be 500 to 1.2 km in diameter. The first thing they do is bulk sampling so 200 bore holes drilled and cored 30 to 50 m then they send to a diamond processing plant usually in South Africa so this bulk sampling could be 150 tonnes of Kimberlite pipe and when all of the diamonds extracted they make a figure for example 4 carats a tonne then it's worth mining. Just removing the top surface can take a year before hitting the Kimberlite pipe.

I will be surprised if this company is still in business if they are so incapable that it takes them 10 years to find out if a newly discovered diamondiferous kimberlite is economically viable. Even if it is a large resource involving the planning required for an underground section as well, it should not take more than 2 - 3 years.
