Massive ocean cliffs, cobblestone beaches, mossy forestland and an upland peat bog -- Boot Head in Lubec has it all. Owned and managed by the Maine Coast Heritage Trust, the 700-acre preserve features some of Maine’s most spectacular coastal scenery, and can be explored by a network of well-maintained hiking trails.

Awesome video ! I like also to go for a walk in the forest to discover somethings , or animals , birds existing in it .

The loop is deceptive! WAlked to carrying place cove many times! Took my mountain bike ride around about 35 years ago !

Deuce! That's one of two spruce grouse in that specific area. They are very jealous of their territories, and the dividing line is right there at the bog overlook. Deuce is always on that side of the bog spur. "Bruce" is always on the other. As many times I have seen them ( a lot ) there's never been both grouse on one side of that dividing line. Glad to see he's still around. He's absurdly bold, as you can see.
