Completely agree! True Riri fans know how she actually performs. She’s never been about all the crazy costumes, lights, setting etc. her presence alone does WAY more than a lot of artists could do. It has really bugged me seeing everyone say she didn’t do enough, she was lazy, it wasn’t all out there 😒😒 I loved it! And I’m so happy we were blessed to watch her on stage bc who knows when’s the next time or if she’ll ever come back 😢

She said that those people are from her country so it is a representation of her nation, of who she is. ❤ Everything in that performance was so unique : her outfit, stage, choreography, etc. Rihanna said that it was tough for her to do that setlist of her songs but she finally did it and she is good with it. ❤ That show has +13M views in 1 Day. It shows that she is still a Legend and will be it forevA. 😊 Can't wait for her new album coming soon.

I mean i completely respect her as an artist but for me PERSONALLY she did not live up to the hype she had building for years. Ive always adored her MTV awards performances and was hoping for that vibe but elevated. I understand she is not going to drop from the sky like lady gaga in 2017, but I wanted to have a bit more stage presence. The choreo she did do felt unentergetic compared to the songs she was singing. For me I dont really care about lip syncing, everyone in the industry does it, and I would much rather have a great performance vs crazy vocals especially on the Super Bowl. I also understand she was pregnant which is no one fault but I wish she would’ve seemed more excited to just be there. No outfit changes, no guest performance’s, etc, nothing felt special about this performance, except the fact that it was her first time preforming live in years. I loved her outfit, just felt as if it got in a way a bit at times, and I loved the whole floating stages, just wish she did more to make a bigger impression. I mean just compare the energy of JLo and Shakira, Beyonce, Lady Gaga or any other female icon in the industry who has done the Super Bowl, she missed the mark.

Man, you all require the absolute bare minimum from some women and resent excellence from others. If she weren't wearing pink you would have no idea where she was or what her contribution was to the performance. It was basically a dance group's performance to Rihanna music.

If she did lipsync then it shortchanged her fans. One commenter said most artists lipsync and that's OK. Wrong! Metal singers don't. European symphonic metal singers don't. Check some out performing live such as Epica, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Beyond the Black, Visions of Atlantis, The Gathering. Sorry Metal singers are in a different class.
