Well it was to set the full game so I think it worked throughout so why change. Music is a little weird here though don't know if that was in the teaser or is just the video.

The walkways from dream catcher halves(as shown in the section inside Elderbug's dream) would have been nice though, now we only have the classical platforms appearing out of nowhere in the dreams

@@Fahimlol yes, that too, but it made sense because it's lore heavy. Brooting Mawleck was more of a hard beginning boss with little lore or connection to the plot (Edit: yes, my first comment was confusing)

this will be put in silksong, in my opinion, because they said that they removed some stuff from hollywood knight since it was getting too big, and that stuff should be in silksong theoretically

I read a couple weeks ago that someone leaked information about the final boss hollow knight silksong and that this giant spider will be the final boss and he controls the farlum with the help of threads, but I don’t know whether to believe that guy or not.

During development, Team Cherry actually when through a cycle of "work towards a finished product." -> "Expand on that" -> "repeat" This was done so that a TC could stop development if they wanted to and still be able to release a finished game. Kingdom's Edge and the Ancient Basin most certainly didn't exist at that point, but the broken vessel and hoppers did.

Kingdom's edge is literally a wasteland of stuff team cherry was about to scrap but decided to reuse here, kingdom's edge was a part of deepnest before being seperated

I know that the large snail was cut from the game because there was already the snail shamans and two different snails didn't make sense, plus the big snails were made by a different artist

That's a big spider. Some alpha version of Radiance maybe, but that's still a huge fuckin spider.

I believe TC said the snail village was too cartoon-like, a very different aesthetic to the rest of the game

The backgrounds are still the same, but they added a blur effect on it. If you mod hk and deblur it then you see everything clearly.

Probably why they shifted it to kingdom edge
