Statik makes so much sense for thresh. It gives great stats for the empowered auto, and the statik ability scales on ap, which thresh gets for free from his passive souls… so he has infinite scaling with the statik, without having to build any ap.. Gives wave clear that thresh desperately needs…

I played against this in an earlier match of League. And yeah, that Thresh toplane won against a Gnar. Was instrumental in winning the match.

Pants the reason he didnt stomp this game after his early lead where teemo gave him the lane and prio for free. He didnt try to use Thresh Q, to stall during Teemo Blind. As soon as he touches teemo and flays, he should also hook if he got the teemos blind on CD. That way he can keep teemo from htting autos, during that time he can lantern, and after the blind is over we can hit another Flay Auto, and probably have another E soon after if he needs it to disengage before Teemo Q is back up Thresh Q is a moment of silence, but by his design, thresh benefits from stalling the fight for those 2 seconds. It costs alot of mana, but if your going to all in, you have to hit an Auto Hook (You CAN Auto > E > Hook, for consistency)

I can actually see this becoming a meta pick. Armor scaling from passive covers him not buying defense right away, statik shiv with passive ap is decent wave clear(the most important aspect of a solo laner), exceptional utility in a team fight, and great setup for jg ganks. possibly gets abused by mages top like ryze, cass, and malz, but nobody is picking those right now.

You should try a build I made up , it might work better for pc because I played this on wild rift, on a.p ish twitch, you should build deathcap, nashors tooth,boots of choice(speed or vamp perferably) blade of the ruined kind and collectors, with lethal tempo, eye of storm, and trans(rest is up to you) , I like the build on twitch since the splash can crit/ cap damage around 2.3k when u max stack the poison marks, pretty good since twitch has quite the range and is better then cait range damage ratio if u compare to her with rapid fire. :) enjoy

Regarding that point on using e to guarantee hitting q... U are right, but it could be even better. In fact u can cast nearly half of Thresh's q animation during e animation, making it impossible for enemies to move before getting hit, since they are still in the airborne animation of the the sweep. (Little fact about thresh 🤔😅). Btw, this works with every ability it has; you can cast a spell and then press q instantly. It will start casting q during the animation of the skill that was pressed first.

thresh top and thresh mid is so fun and actually pretty decent, nobody understands how to play against it, and u get free scaling for both lanes (AP mid and Armour top) also i've said it before, baus is good, his deaths aren't an issue, his teams mental is just scuffed cos they THINK it's bad and it's not lmfao TEAM issue, not baus issue, its almost always his team that screws him over

I play a lot of Thresh. I think it would have been better here 11:34 if he had dropped his W. I think with the attack speed he has he would have gotten 3 autos off, instead of just 2 by Shielding the Kindred dash bolts (only taking damage from 1 due to their execute damage) for the time on the third auto. Kindred ended with 135 hp. Thresh damage on autos (for the second two attacks, inferring he got the third off like I think) is 92 ad plus 37 souls (it says 48 magic damage in the attack he got off because it proc'd fleet) and his flay damage did 212 magic damage. So, if he got the first auto off like he did (yes I realize it was a crit) he would have enough hp do deal about 129 damage to Kindred so there's a VERY real chance the minions could have killed her. Also, if he crit on the second attack he would have done 161 ad instead of 92 ad putting the total damage to 198, over the HP that Kindred had had left. Edit: I'm high and forgot to mention he gets auto'd at least one less time because there's no vision of him in the bush for W, whereas the E granted kindred vision a split second longer so she got an extra auto off. There's also the possibility she might have Q'd early without vision, negating the initial damage, securing the kill 100%.

thresh top static shiv is literally years old, but ok. you can either go BORK for anti tank or shiv for burst. you can also go full tank with either as your only offensive item and still be a threat. ghost is much better for longer fights, chasing escaping in some situations flash hook is a gimmick, ghost is for real top laners. maokai, darius, cho, renekton, rumble, irelia, trundle tons of top laners prefer ghost.
