If you have less than 3 encounters with a person, it's not ghosting. It's actually just someone not being able to take a hint

I don't think ghosting has much to do with being concerned about her feelings. It is concern about the hassle to your own. We are living in a world now where hurt feelings are a valid reason to get really angry or even violent. Say the wrong word etc We are training people to ghost in this new environment. It's way less of a hassle to ghost.

You can have a great first date. Then go home and think about it and realise there were red flags. The Bert show did a program of a guy who left a date happy and went home and checked her social media Dm saw photos of her and snakes. Turned him off

He ghosted so if it didn't work out with the other girl Charlotte was the back up plan. He was trying to keep the door open. He would have a sorry story of why he never replied.

Generally you don’t have to question but SOMETIMES you will read into everything and overthink and it takes a while to calm down lol Ask me how I know 😂

Ghosting to me means I don't want to hurt your feelings but I want the option of coming back if I want to.

That's how I see it too. "Maybe if it doesn't work with the other girls I'm talking to, I'll come back to you. So I'm not going to tell you I'm not into you, I'll just leave you hanging"

Bert, it may be awkward to see so.eone person to person but that's a learning point you might go through more often than once in a lifetime. (After one date you can text, give you that)

This is the first time since listening to this show i disagree with all of them. She got ghosted, oh well big deal guess what everyone gets ghosted at some point in their life. It was a couple dates and they weren’t committed, in the end the guy did nothing wrong and I’m sorry the people on show need to get out of their feelings for a second. If this was a guy calling about a girl they would be making up every excuse in the book why she ghosted and why she would be in the right

True, this is common. Common isn’t always right or fair. It is more adult and polite to simply communicate. But people dislike confrontation and haven’t been educated on how to communicate, and the fact that most people would rather get bad news versus no news. It is great to tell people “I liked learning about you on our date. I wanted to be upfront and let you know that I didn’t feel like we click romantically. You’re a wonderful person, just not THE person for me. Take care!” Most of us would rather have something like this than nothing at all.
