Pre-recorded guest questions came from Michael Palin, Tom Daley, the cast of The Inbetweeners, Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer, Lily Allen, Rio Ferdinand, Pixie Lott and Status Quo members Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt. Paralympic gold medallists Kelly Gallagher and Charlotte Evans provided the in-studio guest question. Charles Dance read from the autobiography of Joey Essex. The children of Mitchell Brook Primary School acted out the Bernie Ecclestone trial. Jon Snow gave his news report about "All About That Bass". The mystery guest was Dean Farley, the jogger who ran into David Cameron.
Mel B's performance received notable negative attention on social media and in the press as having brought down the show by being perceived as sour and humorless.

This is like the sixth time I’ve seen a video like this “Richard Ayaode says something funny somewhere in this ~15 clip from the TV show.” And it’s the sixth time I’ve found myself watching this show where I barely understand anything because I guess I’d kind of like to see Richard Ayaode say the funny thing.

@merpzilla
@merpzilla Жыл бұрын
Most male actors have been below average height for a significant portion of human history, being short, thin, and having a slightly larger head works very well on camera. Same goes for many sports, short = agile - it's only over the past 70ish years that larger players have become more popular. Footballers, jockeys, racquet sports, etc have all had a higher number of shorter men dominating the scenes for a long time. I understand the concept, we've moved away from body shaming at a pretty good pace over the past 10 years but it's still 'okay' to joke about short men, right? It's not fair but that's life, if you're below average height it's not the death sentence you might've made it out to be in your mind. The studies that link promotions, average salaries, and general work/life satisfaction as being skewed towards taller men should be taken with a grain of salt, they have low sample sizes, they're vague with how they garner subjects, and they don't take into account age, race, or sexuality. It's easy to get downtrodden about things like that at a glance but if you take the time to consider the validity of those studies you'll see it's mostly fearmongering. If you have any shorter men in your social group ask them instead, see how they feel in their day-to-day life, don't just stew and become resentful over something that can't be changed. Life can be good or bad regardless of your height, if you automatically resign yourself to nihilism because you aren't the average height in your country then it's a you-problem more than anything else.

Earnings part, I'm sure it has more to do with nepotism than discrimination of short people. People who were rich for generations are always tall, it's to do with being able to afford excellent nutrition for offspring, especially in bygone times. Of course, there will be some exceptions. And than they get positions in family business, or use connections to get into best companies. So people read that 30% of CEOs of Fortune 500 are taller than average and make a false correlation

The US & Canada both claim the invention of the phone, as Alexander Graham Bell worked on it in both Boston, Mass., & Brantford, Ontario, but it seems Scottish kids like Kevin Bridges must be taught in school that they can take credit as well, just because Bell was born in Edinburgh! Small nations seem particularly prone to nationalism over inventions -- the Portuguese claim Corte Real discovered America, not Columbus, and when I visited a tour guide gave a long lecture about some obscurity who designed, but did not build, an early submarine, as we stood rolling our eyes in front of his statue!

Yes, we usually credit the inventor with the invention, rather than the location. Exactly. The show is quite boring. And I love peep show, gervais' office and so on. But this...i just dont get.

Is your KZfaq broken? I get a whole list of videos along the right side of the screen so I can switch when I find a comedy video I think is barely funny. I thought it was like that for everyone. You should check up on that, it could be your browser.

Not a fan of victorian Sun. night dramas, or as an American the Brit accent and fast talking. But i gotta say, British comedy is part of an endangered species as (white) comedy in America going by the wayside. No offensre to anyone incl. guests

Here's a suggestion: I have no idea who this Mel person is who everyone is complaining about. If she's that bad and you find her that distasteful: SHUT UP AND STOP WATCHING THE SHOW!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 STOP WHINING AND STOP TALKING ABOUT IT. Yes, you're entitled to your opinion and haters are gonna hate. But for those of us who don't know anything about her, just stop talking.

The things the British find amusing is perplexing. This show should be destroying a comedian’s career. Unless they use canned laughter in their shows too.

We’re not all insufferable pricks who feel fine insulting an entire country over a tv show. Apologies. (Not pandering, but discovering Richard A, David Mitchell, Lee Mack, and more was the best part of this American’s quarantine.)
