Many people criticize her for leaving JYP, and kept saying up to this day that she should have stayed regardless what and debuted to Itzy to get famous immediately. But look at her now!!! I don't know what's your definition of success, coz for me she is really successful and happy where she is right now. This label has been constantly supportive and healthy for her well-being. They completely focuses on her and gave her the freedom that she always wanted. I'm sure fame will follow her because she is the right place right now. For those who think she shouldn't have left JYP let me tell you the difference between being successful and being popular. Being successful means you are doing good, that you accomplished what you wanted to and your are happy about it. Being popular means you are a topic mostly everyone knows, it can mean acceptance or fame of most people. She might not be as popular as when she was part of I.O.I or as she could have been in ITZY but she wasn't being completely successful in JYP either. She was there waiting and waiting for the moment she could debut in something permanently and she had the opportunity by changing company. You can tell she has succed because she's debuted and most importantly she is happy.

I'm old YG stan and I kinda tolerate the Misterious ness of this TBL guys. But thanks to Somi, i should bow down and thanks her instead, she literally brings the best of these oppas. I need the whole world know these oppa is lovable, mere human, and not as intimidating as you think. Im crying. This is not about Somi only, but also the oppas and the label as whole. How she oftenly address these oppa casually, make fun of Teddy. Somi, thank you, youre like a small window in the whole building and bring some strips of light in TBL. I was about to cry when Somi was tearing up while expressing her sincere love for her company. This is a clear example of when you treat somebody with sincerity, you will also be treated the same. Everything comes to a full circle and Somi deserves all the love. This is why I love Somi. I know that no matter how much hate she will receive in her career, as long as she has one person to support her, she will give her 100% to not disappoint her supporters. I don't think she will ever make me regret being her fan and I will continue to watch her grow and mature both in her life and her career. I want to say to Somi that no matter what may happen to you in the future, I will always support you and hope the best for you. I don't hope for you to be world-famous, but I do hope you to be able to achieve the success you have in mind. Do know that despite the obstacles that you will face in the future, as long as you do your best with passion and honesty, then you have done your best. You don't have to be the best and the most famous. You can just be yourself because that's what we love about you and want for you. Love you Somi!

This girl is super lovable. She's not only attractive but talented as well. Aside from Chungha, I love her and waited for her to become her own version without feeling trap or hindered and The songs she released were awesome. It's her style sassy but sexy.
