My womb was closed for 6 years and I couldn’t have a baby. Doctors couldn’t figure it out and nothing I tried helped. Through faith and prayer, I was healed! I now have 4 beautiful children, my first being a set of twins! They are now older and honoring God with their lives and bringing people to Christ! God can do it!!

But I never knew I would have to do it alone, I struggle, I get angry, God knows I love my mother. But the others were her favorite, after all these years I can’t believe how the tide has turned. Tears are falling...I have tried to show my children that I Love them, but only after I am gone will they see...just how much.

Last summer I went through a hurtful life changing time. My wonderful son in law, without speaking to my daughter first, came to me and said “I want you to know you always have a home with us. I want you to come live with us and I know Jamie will agree, plus our sweet boy needs his Na Na.” The day I moved in he met me in the driveway with a huge hug and said, “Welcome home.” My heart is so full of love for him, my beautiful daughter and my sweet grandson Ezra. The Lord has blessed me beyond measure. I have a wonderful Mother as well. Her faith and prayer have brought me through the dark. Thank you Lord for the many blessings you have given me.

I'm her youngest and have watched my mother suffer so much so that it's taken a toll on my health. I never dreamed that one day I would have to take care of my mother, father and stepdad all by myself especially seeing as how they did/do so much for my other siblings and their kids. For those of you reading this and feel as if you're so tired and are ready to throw in the towel and put your parent (s) away in a nursing home, I too have been in your shoes. I have walked away from job opportunities, relationships and have even wondered what my life would have been like if I had/have that "freedom," but 2000 years ago, there was a man who walked the streets healing the sick and raising the dead that promised me a room in his father's mansion. You only get 1 mother and father. Give them their roses while they are alive to smell them. For one day, you too will be in their shoes.

A mother is precious. When siblings do not step up God has a way of raising you up. You will have strength and peace that only God can give. I quit work to take care of my mother. My mother was in a bad accident when I was young and satin tried to take her out. But God sent her back home to her children. I am the fourth child and yes the journey may not be easy but God will,can and have supplied my every need. FOR EVERYONE WHO IS TAKING CARE OF A parent. God chose you. To be chosen by God is a blessing in it self.

I never knew my father because he was killed the same year I was born. I've tried to tell my son how lucky he is to even have a father who loves him. I've not seen him in about 5 year's....... I know God has a plan and I'm trusting his work.

First time hearing this song, it brings tears to my eyes as I can relate to it. My Mom in her latter years had 7 of alive including 1 mentally challenged., I have 4 older brothers and sister, I have been given me mother shelter for over years, I now have 2 sons of my own. After my mom and I got chik-v I was the only one taking care of her we lived in the same home separate buildings it was not easy going back and forth. She did not get back on her feet after chik-v , I used to have dreams of her asking for something or for help and I would get of my bed in a panic and run to get house various hours in the nights just to make sure she is ok. I couldn't take it anymore so I moved her along with my mentally challenged sister into my bedroom and slept on my living room floor for over 2 years . I was doing all this with minimum financial help which couldn't even buy food for the two of them much more me, but I stuck it out with my little pension (by the way 1 brother and 2 sisters are living and working in the states) my mom passed away June of 2019 and I'm still stuck with my sister. I thank God I was able to take care of my mom and make her comfortable in her latter years. This is just highlights, So much more to the story of my life with mom.

i love this song because , i was raised by my grandmother and when she got sick starring in 1987, and it got worse it was family that told me she need to go and stay at a nursing home. she had 1 daughter, 8 grandchild. i was the one that they laugh, and talked about. but i took care of my grandmama, not because I had to but because when i was sick as baby, and my moma want to give me away.she took me.
