Raised in South Carolina my mother travel behind The Gospel keynotes and they healed me up and today in 2024 I need the Gospel keynotes cause they are my favorite gospel group Till the end of my soul

My mother used to play them so much for me when I was a sick child with asthma and couldn't go to school and The Gospel keynotes raise me as a sick child! And I'm 53 today

As a young teenager trying to learn the art of playing drums. I watched this concert on VHS everyday. This group helped create my style of playing and singing, others did as well but this was my drumming foundation. Awesome Group. Rest Easy Country Boy.

This is my favorite concert film. The Keynotes are in top form as band. The background singers shine too. But the incomparable Willie Neal Johnson steals the show. He takes us through the levels of emotion as only he can. We smile. We shout. We scream. Then we cry. He delivers every emotion. Only master artist do that. He was definitely that. My friend. My idol. The GOAT. IMO

Willie Neal Johnson and his group are at the top of my list of favorite gospel groups ever! Willie Neal had such a wonderful down to earth, sincere personality, excellent showmanship, great voice, energy and leadership. He is truly missed. I sing quartet gospel with Helen Smith and the Angels of Faith of Washington DC, but I never got to see Willie Neal, I really missed a great gospel singer, thank God for youtube - this a wonderful tool for keeping our legends of gospel voices alive for the next generations.
