The suits in the James Bond movies represent the armor and outfit of the world's greatest secret agent. So, when I set out on my own mission I had to turn to the original brand that made Connery's suits from the movies- Anthony Sinclair! In this video I show you the process of working with the brand owners, Mason & Sons, having my suit chosen, made, fitted, and finally worn on several 007 experiences in the heart of London! For those of you that love the sartorial side of Bond, this is a must see!

Properly fitted suit! Elliot did a fantastic job as usual to correctly fit your suit. Been a client of theirs for many years. Been to Montague Sq. many times and have spent many hours with David and Elliot in London and in New York over the years. With nearly a dozen suits made by Mason & Sons/ Anthony Sinclair, I highly recommend to have them tailor your suit. Beyond the Bond connection, the eye for detail and proper fitting, Mason & Sons should be your first choice.

My favorite suits that Pierce Brosnan wore were by Brioni! Brioni made the best suits of all Bond films! However, Sean Connery wore very classic suits that never go out of style, very nice! You look great in that suit David! I love that the pant legs are not skim tight!

Elliot is a great guy. I ordered a suit from Mason and Son's (mid grey pick and pick) in the sale. There was an issue with the trousers so without sending them Elliot let me know he was not happy with them and would get me a new pair at no charge. The suit took a long time to arrive and Elliot was great with the customer service and as an apology for the delay gave me a free pocket square. Great customer experience.

I think the best suit Bond ever wore was the suit he was wearing when talking to Goldfinger on the porch in Kentucky. He unbuttons the jacket just prior to sitting down.

Have to echo the praise for M&S. Back in 2013 I came by the when the 007 special deal was still available. David M was just fantastic! l left with the darker shark skin conduit cut suit before it hit the market. It’s still my go to suit. Loved the video DMZ. Thank you for sharing.

Wonderful video. The biggest problem with off the peg suits is that the arm holes have been cut too low. Looks great if you're standing with arms at your side. When driving, or trying to move about, your movements are restricted. Keep in mind that film suit jackets have different cuts for action scenes, etc. If you have muscle on the shoulders, you don't need any padding, and can have the arm holes cut higher. Try raising your arms above your head when trying on a jacket. If you can't move, pass on the jacket, or have one cut with higher arm holes. That way, you'll have full movement when driving your Aston Martin.

I feel this looks better on you than any of your Tom Ford suits. Interestingly and unbeknown to me, I've just comissioned a suit in very similar style to this, using Dugdale Brothers Navy Herringbone cloth. Should collect it by the end of the month.

David and Elliot are top gents, and remember them launching and being based in Sackville St. I am fortunate enough to have visited Montagu Square in central London (being based near London), its a special address with so much history. And Yes, the Conduit cut, Anthony Sinclair suit is a joy to wear - I love the cut and attention to detail.

Great suit, Great film. In my top three. Connery looked great in suits, jackets. Yes Craig wore them great,,as they were perfectly fitted. Brosnan was great., Brosnan in the navy jacket on the Manticore, was incredible.

Gorgeous suit. Chapaeu! Do wish we'd go back to slightly looser (40's/50's) pants/trousers. Not as baggy as the Jack Vettriano paintings, but something in the middle. Looks to me that a lot of modern outfits are kinda top heavy.... But what the hell do I know. Great vid.

Years ago I was being fitted for a suit to be Best Man at a wedding. I asked for either Connery's from Goldfinger or Cary Grant's from North By Northwest.

What gave this suit the wow factor on screen was Sean Connery’s outstanding height and physique. The suit is cute on you Dave but creates a completely different impression than when it was worn by Sean.

Sir Sean was my 'bond' for many reasons BUT every piece of clothing Sean wore looked FAB. He would look so suave, sophisticated, charming and SO SEXY. and the "cut" always stuck out for me. Anthony Sinclair was a genius when it came to tailoring. It's great to see Mason & Son follow this history still and interesting to listen to all the stories from back then. Is this GOLDFINGER suit the best? Perhaps some may think so but i love all the suits appropriate to each film

The Tom Ford suits were awful in my opinion, far too tight. Sinclair always looks comfortable and can be worn for many occasions

I think you're missing the fact that it's the style of the time. That's how suits are nowadays... I just don't think old heads can accept that tighter suits work for younger men

Great suit, You didn’t mention how much a suit like the one you had made costs, I know it’s not about the money but it kinda is. The suits looks great on you but in my opinion ditch the beard!

Well the "off the shelf" price appears to be £1500-1700. Then tailoring on top. Unless that’s included as part of the service but near to £1800 in total maybe. This is going by the prices on their website.

@@nickkambitis5340 I suppose compared to TF suits it’s a bit of a bargain. 😂 I’ll admit it’s more than I could afford (some saving would be required) but the fact you can buy direct through the website is nice. Flights from where I live are horrendously expensive so being able to order online something iconic like these suits is fantastic. I’m not tall at 5ft 7" so a 38" suit in short length would fit me fine. Would be interesting to see what David thinks of their version of the glen check "Goldfinger" three piece compared to the N Peal version (which is a good chunk cheaper but probably just as nice).

@@andrewharper4296 That is if you pick Anthony Sinclair fabric bunch.If you go for the othe bunch,Pope and something, a suit costs about £800 .I got several made from them, they offer the same Bond styles but the fabric is not form Holland and Sherry but from VBC..same colour,same weight, maybe a but lighter.

The suit Bond (The legend that was Sean Connery) has on in Q's lab just as he's given the DB5, as he slips his hands into his trouser pockets... Connery never looked as cool

The trousers look nice. The jacket waist is nicely tapered. The jacket length is slightly too short. The Chest should be looser and have even more drape. The shoulders should not look "painted on". The shoulders should be wider and extend further off the shoulder.

A great looking retro suit. However, suits from the early 60's would have thinner lapels, with no stitching on the edges, side vents, with three buttons on the jacket front.
