I can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying your explorations of the Closes and finding the little treasures along the way. Thank you for doing this! To think, some people go to the gym to get on a StairClimber!

These videos of the closes are fascinating. The courtyards, the architecture, how the sections of the town are connected... Loved your comment about “the something garden door capital something something something..!” Thanks for your efforts, Tony!

Warriston's close and Borthwick's close were used as filming locations in the BBC's 2004 adaptation of North & South.

Thank you for the history. It’s wonderful. Sooo many stairs. When we were there in August we had to use a lot of stairs it was a lot of work. Thank you for being willing to go up and down those stairs. So we can see the closes.

Fantastic video yet again! Anchor close was our "go to" close to get around town. Thank you for the additional history! I took a picture of the door way with "Lord be merciful to me" inscription. Very cool finds!

Borthwick’s looks like it could be spooky at night. They’re all lovely. Tony hope you treated yourself to Gregg’s takeaway and a beer for the stairs. Maybe helped you get ready for Orlando.
