I have been watching since you taught Dorthy how to swim. I’ve watched each of your children swim with whales for the first time. This one had me in tears. Cali’s perseverance and determination to keep trying to surf was everything🥺him singing to himself to comfort himself and giving himself as many tries as it took possible to stand up on the board😭his voiceovers also throughout the whole video were absolutely ADORABLE, y’all never fail to amaze me with your parenting :’)

I know, but it must be a little hard to travel so much and have to leave their friends. Also, when they show them opening presents on Christmas, the kids are excited over simple gifts. I love that! 😊

@@elianafalconero34 yeap in the past they showed a video where Dorothee was crying not having any steady friends, travelling too much, but I don"t worry these kids do have a marvallous life having so many occasions to live what NO other kids can live - very clever from the parents, Garett and his beautiful wife to make money out of it all, we are fan !

This was EVERYTHING!!! Watching all 3 kiddos growing and learning is so wonderful. Dorothy stepping up as the big sis, becoming the helper and teacher, Manilla being the awesome example and Cali becoming fearless!!! I watched and cried seeing Cali with the whales...he's such a brave big boy! Garrett and Jess, you are AMAZING parents, teachers, leaders, examples and souls!

I had a childhood a little similar to this, I grew up on a tiny island in the middle of the South Atlantic ocean, it is called St. Helena. When I was about 7 we went swimming with whale sharks as their migration path went past us. I remember being terrified, when my dad finally convinced me to get in the ocean, he pointed at a large whale shark swimming straight towards us, I was petrified at the time, but looking back it was such a special moment.

Aww this got me teary , this is absolutely beautiful, I love your guys channel it’s because it’s far from the generation that is normalised today , it’s beautiful the way u guys have raised and are raising your guys children , it’s moments and memories like these is what we live for , it’s experiences and accomplishments like these that they will grow to cherish and remember, DORTHY has grown so much , she’s willing to do anything and she’s so confident in her every move , she’s growing to be such a young independent woman !! This was Cali's video. And I don't know if anyone else noticed the Space Oddity song, but that made me especially emotional. You used a version of this song when Dorothy was this exact age when she was learning to be the brave kid she is now. And using this pretty orchestra version for Cali in this big moment in his life... I don't know it just seems like something has come full circle and now you're swimming with whales with *all* the kids. This trip was definitely something special.

I sob when I see this, it is just incredible how much respect and empathy you have been able to teach your children. You said, that you answer questions, here is one. What can we do to help parents, teachers and other caretakers to implement these characteristics in children. I live in Greece, but I am open to any kind of project we could develope.

Family does and that 's good for them - both parents are ... just so nice and heartlly full minded (not sure my english language manage to say what I do feel, but there you are : I've been watching this family , from France, for years and each time ... I just have to say I am so proud of little Cali! I have seen his confidence grow a lot and be more comfortable in the water! And that moment when he was swimming alone and the baby whale came close by to see him and he turned around and the thumbs up got me teary eyed! What an amazing moment Cali, your a cool dude! ❤

I love to see the bond between all of you & the love and understanding for nature and culture ❤💙💚 How close did the whales come? Within reach?? Your first video I stumbled up.on was you teaching Cali how to swim. And then this.. you and your family have got me bawling my eyes out. It was so beautiful to witness. Everything from the bond you all share, Cali's perseverance and your family's support for him, and then finally the whales, especially when you three were swimming with your whale counterparts.
