It was a wholly different time. There's not of the "essential" nicenesses we have today. Internet, mobiles, gameboy's (and the like) and pc's wasn't invented yet. The whole digital age wasn't begun. In that respect the good old days sucked. But we had a lot of time of our hands: We had no stress like we do now. However, we lived in fear of Nuclear Armageddon. That was very real. Every Wednesday sirens in my country sounded: We prepared for the Soviets. I do NOT wish to return to that age. The fall of the Berlin Wall brought new hope. I, however, long for the 90's that were carefree. The West had won and the opportunities were endless - until 2001. Kind of like 1900-1914. That is my perspective on the life I have lived.

There's a reason why your grandma that's posts videos to her Facebook don't get the same amount of views as talented people. Plus there are more talented musicians now then back then. It's just more saturated so there's also more shitty musicians then back then so there WAY more to sort through.

@@roddydykes7053 I saw a tiktok yesterday where a guy said kids at the school were having a school spirit days cosplay where they were dressing up as kids from the early 90s. Then he showed some video of them. They so did not look like they were in COSTUME. lol like, they just looked .... normal! I'm hoping someone duets it with how kids are dressing now so I can see a side by side comparison. The 80s, yeah, I can see that being costumish but...the 90s??? lol I could not wrap my head around it.

Yes he really is, I admire this man. He produced songs for Yes, ABC, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Pet Shop Boys and so much more. Hell, I didn't even know that he produced songs by Seal. This man is definitely a genius and I hope his production will last the test of time.
