Got mine. 5'9", around 170lbs, I went for a medium. It fits and will do the job, but is very roomy. I could've gone for a small it would have worked better. Other than that, it's the best jacket I've ever owned.

might be a small unless you work in it. maybe a medium. also depends on your body size around the gut etc. just match the measurements of your favorite jacket.

Great Jacket, I just got my XL from the second run, it's an amazing jacket, it's absolutely beautiful. Sizing: I also just got a Carhartt Men's Full Swing Relaxed Fit Washed Duck Insulated Traditional Coat in XL from work and it fits perfectly so I wear XL in Carhartts jackets, I can raise my hands over my head, there's plenty of room to layer, it's perfect, now I wear XXL in Filson and other button down shirts, but XL in the Filson Cruiser and I compared the measurements from my XXL Filson Alaska Guide shirt to the Workhorse and ordered the XL based on the measurements and your recommendations to size down and it fits nice and snug. Unfortunately that means there is no room to layer underneath, and I can't raise my arms above my head, so this jacket is a very nice thing to wear for style but it won't work to keep me warm since I can't layer underneath it, and I can't really be able to work in it since sometimes I have to raise my hands above my head. Please tell guys from XL and up to wear their regular size, don't size down, I spent the entire wait period terrified it was going to be WAY too big, turns out it was a tiny bit too small. I do love it, and now I am even more determined to lose some weight so it fits better.

Very great comment. But I would recommend emailing them about the sizing issue. I do believe that the size chart is dead on with what you get. My tip was to get the one that matched the measurements of your current favorite jacket and ignore the sizing name. Numbers don't lie so that's what i would suggest to anyone. hard to say who likes it roomy fit or more stylish fit. Very helpful comment for any one here though! I hope that you end up happy with it in the end! They're great guys and think they should take care of you if you email them with an issue.

@@jeffreybuoncristiano That's exactly correct, for us larger guys, order the size you would ordinarily wear is what I would recommend or size down for a slimmer more stylish fit

I had a very similar situation. Ordered an XL based on the measurements on their website and found it was a bit too small.
