A huge detail you missed. In the behind the scenes footage, Logan still has the swords inside of him while he is running at sabertooth. I think they CGi'd them out for this trailer, and he will kill Sabertooth while having the blades in him, meaning DP should be pulling the blades out for a different fight.

It's behind-the-scenes guys, which doesn't necessarily mean that they included the same scene in the original movie or trailer. They could have shot this scene but later removed it.

In the set photos, when Wolverine charges Sabertooth, you can see Deadpool’s katanas still sticking out of him, but in the trailer, they’re not there. It would be weird for them to have a practical effect for the impaled katanas, only to CGI them out.

Could be another take that they didn’t use in the trailer. You have to remember they will film multiple takes and use them for trailers and promotional material and not be in the movie or vice versa.

Wolverine is a lot heavier for his size because Adamantium is a heavy metal to have your bones coated with.

0:01 Canadian Lad is correct being totally different scene’s with wolverine saying who’s next. This is because you can also see Deadpool has his katana blade behind him for a small sec at the time frame I selected. Also the close up shot is interesting as well.

Definitely there's no hulk after Deadpool's dialogue. Watch in .25x speed and you will see Sabertooth standing at the the end of the scene for fraction of a second.

I love how when Wolvie is squaring up to charge at Sabretooth, you can see him sort of steadying his stance and spreading his arms.... but his head is rock steady and remains fixed on his target. It's exactly like a cat getting ready to pounce and they're wiggling their back half and i don't know if it was cgi-enhanced or if Hugh Jackman has that level of neck control, but I love it.

A small correction, the Captain America running sequence was not cgi but a practical stunt done on something called as a magic carpet. More details on a video by Corridor Crew (A stuntmen react episode I believe)

I think it's ironic that they said Logan/Wolverine was the last of the mutants yet the mutant numbers in Deadpool and Logan we're off the charts. It literally makes no sense. The only thing that makes sense is instead of another Marvel movie they make a Marvel Zombies movie. It only makes sense is that since Marvel heros are dead that they introduce a new era of something the comics had.

I was thinking the same thing . Every Deadpool character on his previous movies have been bad ass compared to the old x men movies. So it struck me as odd why they wouldn’t make Sabretooth more comic accurate as they have in the previous movies with other characters . I feel like they wouldn’t have done such a lazy job at Sabretooth if he was gonna be a major fight scene .

Looking at the CGi designs for Colossus and Juggernaut in the Deadpool movie universe. We can only imagine what their version of Hulk will look like but I’m already excited for it 💯

I think you hit the bullseye. (Or was it Jubilee.??) I really hope it's Bana's Hulk but animated like Norton's super ripped Hulk. I know Hugh wanted a piece of big Green. But he also really wanted to crossover with Cap. I hope there's a reference when Chris Evans pulls up as Storm. Where JIMMY thinks it's Steve and salutes him. This movie is gonna be so nuts. Elektra. Toad, Juggernaut, Sabertooth, HYDRA, Hulk, Let's go. I'm pretty sure they're hiding some Avengers in there. And hopefully an Agent of SHIELD. Alternate timeline Ward from the Framework. I love the idea of it being hulk instead. SO MUCH but there’s bts footage of this scene with dp pulling out the swords and hyping it up and then Logan and Sabertooth running at each other and it shows both of them in it so idk abt that
