I love my Enclave. I paid $42k back in 2018 and at the time compared it to so many others on the market. I have twin and needed space for two car seats. I also had a double stroller that needed to fit in the rear with the 3rd row up. It did! It came down to this vs the Traverse. I wanted leather and to get that in the Traverse it would have been more than what I spent on the Buick.

I have three boys and absolutely love my Buick Enclave. I bought mine used for 25k. So the price point was great and from my research it has more rear passenger than the Tahoe which is a much higher price point plus gas mileage and insurance. Also, the Avenir is equipped with a bose sound system so keep in mind you’re paying for quality sound. The luxury of this car is amazing. The ride, the amenities and space is great for this mom of three and I’d buy it again! .

I will say Buick had always reminded me of my grandparents car HOWEVER the 2018 update to the Enclave body style had me in love 😍. We compared the Acadia, Traverse and Enclave when looking and hands down the Enclave was the most bang for our buck. We purchased used so we didn’t have the sticker shock of the Avenir you are reviewing. I love love love our Enclave but hate the cup holders up front. I’m also with you on the power sunroof. Thanks for the great review.

We just bought a Buick Enclave for $21,000 for a used premium with less than 50,000 miles. It has a DVD player and such a nice all black interior. We thought we would get a traverse or Acadia but after test driving they felt cheap and bulky (and I drove a Jeep so that should tell you the low standards we came in with 😂) we love the enclave!

I love my Buick Enclave 2021. Fast, V6 with 310 HP. I like the 3rd row seats. Memory seat is awesome too. Plenty of room and space. 360 camera is very helpful in terms of of safety

So I have the Essence 2021 and love it. As mentioned in your video the one thing i hate is the Sunroof shades not being automatic. Love the truck otherwise. Drives great, good gas mileage and love how it handles. The storage trunk space is also amazing.

I have a 2017 Buick Enclave and love it. It’s white with mocha interior. The mocha interior is so beautiful. I was between a Chevy Traverse and the Enclave and the Enclave just felt so much more luxurious so basically the interior is what sold it for me. The only complaint I have is that I wish it was bigger but to get bigger I probably needed to move up to something like a Tahoe, but that wasn’t in our budget at the time.

Grandma car is the first thing that comes to mind.

Love the tour! Can you start showing the car seat tilt with a RF convertible in the seat on your tours? It always looks like SOO much space with an empty seat/FF car seat, but once you put the RF convertible in (at least in our Atlas), it was TIGHT... like, very tight. Even with the front seat moved all the way up. Thanks!

I drive a 2015 Leather model Buick Enclave AWD and I absolutely LOVE my car! I drove 3 Mercedes before this in a row and it was an easy transition to the Buick luxury wise! I felt the Leather model came with pretty much everything I had in my Mercedes (minus the automatic wipers) and I’ve loved this car so much! The drive is smooth and quiet as you mentioned and I feel like I’m driving in a living room. So comfortable and great for trips! Really good on gas mileage too! I would never consider a Chevy Traverse either. Even though they are the same base, the trim, leather and features don’t match up at all! I actually can’t stand the Traverse! You are right about the second row sunshade it IS annoying bc you can’t really open or close it while driving! I wanted it so bad and now I wish I didn’t have it at all bc sun still comes they there on my child. I would have picked the entertainment units instead in retrospect. Maybe try the mid grade model and price range and see if your opinion changes! I love my Buick!

Totally agree with your review! I have a 2018 Premium and feel for the $ there should def be power sunshades as well as window shades in the 2nd row. Room wise it has been great for my family without going to a large SUV. It is perfect actually. I was hesitant to look at them because of the "Grandma" stigma lol. However, I do feel my loaded Hyundai Sante Fe had way more features for the $, it was just too small. In about a year I will look at the Telluride or Palisade! Enclave is nice, but pricey for what you get.

I just got the Buick Eclave Es. So this in comparison to the Traverse for someone who is a big wider and longer (I am 5'8 and a larger woman) the Traverse seats are very narrow. The Buick is perfect. I ended up getting one with a lot of incentives so I am paying 499 a month sign and drive lease 12k a year. So far I love love love it. I was thinking about the Volvo but I saw your video on it and it made me feel like it was too small!

I have this car in the 2020 model. Same trim and colors! The only thing I do not love about it is the lack of headrest in the 3rd row. I have actually written to the company twice about it asking them to include one in their 3rd row. That said, I researched for a year before deciding on the Enclave. I live the captain’s chairs and the pass through to the third row. We’ve traveled thousands of miles with 3 kids and 2 dogs with no issues. It’s a peppy car too with great pick -up. It is expensive but offers more space than other luxury cars in this same price point. The sun shade thing doesn’t bother me but my kids are older and they can open and close it on their own. It’s not nearly as difficult to open either once you know how. If they don’t fix the headrest issue in the next year or so we are probably going to trade it in unfortunately. I need to be able to safely fit 5-6 kids in my vehicle.

We bought an Enclave when we had our 4th and it was a huge mistake. Not enough room and functionality for a large family. I definitely agree they are behind the mark of features for the price. Hopefully Buick will upgrade the Enclave and give it a refresh inside.

Hi! I have a 2016 Buick Enclave. We paid 24k for it and it had under 50,000 miles, which was cheaper than any of the Chevy traverses we could find. I like the car, but agree with much of what you said. The cupholders aren’t great. Also my 7 year old broke the arm rest and vent within 6 months, so not super durable. We have two kids one in a booster and one in a rear facing car seat. They both sit in the captains chairs. When we add another little one we will love the oldest to the back. Trunk space is not great we often have to fold the back seats down for large grocery runs, especially if we have our Chicco stroller, which takes up half the trunk. I’m happy with our Buick for the price we paid but I would never buy new, but that’s just me. I had no idea there isn’t allowed anchors in the back or about the car seat tilt, so thank you for that!

I got a used Enclave Premium and I honestly LOVE it. we have two kids (2.5 and 5) and one on the way and we love it. Our double stroller fits. I feel like the premium trim is a better buy than avenir. I do not like the manual sunroof shades though. They are 100% annoying.

I’m so sad you don’t love the Buick enclave I have an all black exterior interior enclave Avenir or the 2020 and I love it. I drove a GMC Acadia before this. I just love how nice the seats are, I love all the details that make me feel like it’s more of a luxury car. I love the keyless entry, how I can lock it from any door. I also love that it has the tailgate feature where you can open it with your foot. I have two children now I’m bout to add a third so we’ll see how that works with three car seats but I was excited that it had the car seat tilt and the rear vents. The cameras I use every time I drive!

Those weird cup holder looking things in the back seat are actually AMAZING as a mother. Putting kids in the car seats and have things in your hand? Drop them there. I fit my phone and keys in there pretty regularly! The front ones do suck though 😂

We just got one and love it so far. The sunroofs screen should definitely be powered but I like the cargo space, the seats and drive. You also didn’t mention the massage seats which are a nice bonus and the back view camera. We can fit a double uppababy vista in the back w a little room to spare. Definitely some trade offs with luxury brands but we got ours fully loaded for 51.

I would love to see a Traverse tour! I’m debating between an Enclave and Traverse and for what I want, I can get the Enclave cheaper. Which is shocking to me! I like the look of the Traverse better though :-)

Wish you showed more of trunk space and stroller

I had a GMC Terrain and was unfortunately hit and it was totaled. I then needed a car quickly and got into the Buick Encore ( equivalent to the Chevy Trax). I will say I am a bells and whistles gal and paid a lot to have them in my GMC and a lot of that came standard in Buick. I will also say I will continue to only buy USA car brands so to have some of these features in a Buick without having the price tag of a Cadillac is also great.

I have the 2020 enclave essence and it's missing some tech things that should be standard on a near luxury vehicle. Power mirrors, and memory seats for example. The room, ride and comfort make up for it but general motors has cut so many corners in order to save money. I wouldn't pay 60k for the one your reviewing.

I would love to see an update on this video for the 2023 Enclave. The Avenir as top trim is probably overkill for most people and doesn't add a lot of desired features. The power sunroof has been added. Apple Car Play and Android Auto are now wireless. The front seats have massage as well as heat and ventilation in that trim level. The Essence or Premium packages offer a lot for a price between $43K-$51k. Just this week I drove a FWD Telluride that the dealership had tacked an extra $5,000 onto for "market adjustment" bringing the car to about $48k. So because of its popularity and the inability of Kia to keep up with demand, where has the savings gone on the Telluride and Pallisade? Also, there was a 6-12 month wait for orders on the Telluride and no Pallisades in stock at all. GM also regulaerly offers incentives on both the pricing and financing. I'm not that convinced that the cost is that far above its competitors.

my wife reallly likes hers, it is a very comfortable car,. Hers is 5 years older, but i guess they are pretty solid cars, reliability wise though and with the depreication hit cars take it becomes a pretty good deal as a used car i think. . The cupholders in that one are just the normal round ones in all the same locations. I know i requested you take a look at this car a few times becuase it is in the same market as the other cars you review and i was exicted to see you review it. Most of the time it feels like youtubers dont really read comments so it was nice to see you must be reading the comments. :) Since you are reading the comments, have you had a chance to look at high end CUVs lke the prosche cayenne? If nothing else then an excuse to drive a porshce?

Just some tips for future reviews: Perhaps you might want to do a trial run 1st before you start filming for the viewers so you'll familiarize yourself with the car's features and how to operate things. For the front sunroof cover, you needed to push the tab 1st and not just pull it back. 2ndly, the rear sunroof cover was just not pulled forward that's all. Not missing as you thought when you were sitting in the front seat thinking for $60K, it didn't come with any. ;)
