As a KZfaqr, just like you, Jacob, who travels all over the country documenting things I heard the news about Marvins a few weeks ago and knew that I would have to go back because this is from my childhood. I grew up going here when I lived in the Detroit area just saw your video and it’s awesome. And I was making a plan to go Tuesday so literally the day after you released this video. I will be documenting the place one last time and if it moves to a new location, I will document its new location as well.

My god! That place takes me back, when I used to take dates in the 80”s, they had a phone booth, where you could call someone with crazy background noises, I’d call my mom with the jail background, it freaked her out! Glad it’s still around! I grew up there, now in South Carolina!

That ferris wheel machine sat outside the W. T. Grant department store in my hometown! I used to ride it over 55 years ago! I’ve got photos!

It's so cool to see a machine from Brighton, England. I live 30mims from Brighton and it's a fun seaside city but there aren't any vintage arcades anymore. Unfortunately the owners sell off machines to America because there's more interest there. Great to see this thriving place!

I had an opportunity to visit a while ago, it would be quite a challenge to move everything, but honestly they could use a larger space. The space is cramped, in the back of some random strip mall. I hope that they continue for many years, but a new space wouldn't be the worst thing.

Wow, did not know that Tally Hall album was named after a real place.

The couple famous roadside attractions on the Outer Banks in NC already are being destroyed. The Futuro house from 1972 in Frisco burned down just a little over a year ago. The large sand castle from 1978 is now exposed after being hidden inside the largest sand dune on the east coast and is suffering damage now. Not sure how long it will last but some pics still show it. Outer Banks still has some great fiberglass attractions and New Bern, NC still has the "Birthplace of Pepsi" museum and shop.

So awesome! We went for the very first time on Saturday, it was PACKED! We were inspired to make the 4hr drive after seeing one of your older videos. I truly hope they can stay in that location.

43:28 Mantis is gone, but the model of it is still there, it was rebranded with new seat into an floorless coaster instead of an stand up back in 2014-2015 and renamed it to Rougarou. Mean Streak was removed to make way for Steel Vengeance back in 2016, SteVe open to the public in 2018 The rest of the coaster on the side of the machine are still at the park, and have still remnant in there original areas

After it being on my short list of must visit places, I finally got to visit Marvin’s today! Running into The Carpetbagger would have made it perfection. 😃

It's been a few years since I did a video here myself. Need to get back over here in the next few weeks. Such an amazing place and I was surprised to hear about it through your channel first as I only live about 45 minutes away. Great video as always and I agree with you 100%. You never know when things will disappear or go away or how much time each of us has on earth. Live it to the fullest! 👍

One of my earliest memories is of my grandfather putting me on a Ferris wheel ride very similar to that one. I think of him whenever I see one I'll keep my fingers crossed for Marvin's. Congratulations on your Marvin-uptuals! :D That is an incredible place! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing it with us! It looks like an incredible place! And one of the planes circling the room was the Little Stinker, a biplane with a red sunburst pattern that I built as a U-Control plane. I worked on that plane so lovingly and finally it was ready to fly. We took it out to a place called Whittier Narrows in southern CA and while we were flying another plane, my sister and her friend were running around and trampled my Little Stinker!!! Oooh, I was crushed (as was the plane). It was so nice to see it up and "flying" again. :D

Thanks for taking us there. It is rare today to find such a large collection of various small attractions all in one place. It looks like a lot of thought was put in designing the various games, exebitions, and rides. I hope it can survive where it is since it would require a lot of work to remove and relocate such a large collection. Not to mention trying to find a location that locals and tourists will come to support its operation. As you said when you discover something like this try and stop and see it since you never know if it will be there the next time you are in that area. Society puts little value in amusement parks and roadside attractions so many times they are lost to redevelopment projects that have more perceived value. Enjoy them while you can!
