I cried towards the end of this video... I wasn’t okay and now I’m one step closer to being okay. It helps to rationalize your feelings and accepting that whether it’s distractions, people, media, or hope in general... that delaying progress for temporary happiness is okay. Day by day.

I just found the Chris Gethard Show a few days ago and it's 6 a.m. and I'm watching this episode and I've finaaly remembered to subscribe and I'm adding watching this show to my therapy cuz waking up with this rather than the latest White House scandal and/or latest tragedy is SO much better! 😀💜 Oh and when I saw that Ellie Kemper was on I just KNEW I was gonna smile and she did not disappoint! 😂

When I need a laugh, I watch Always Sunny. It always cracks me up; specifically, the one clip I go back to over and over can be found by searching "Charlie vomits blood". I laugh until I cry at that scene. The lines "I have a touch of consumption" and "I think I've been poisoned by my constituents!" always gets me. P.S. Now that I think about it, I have laughed so hard at numerous clips of people vomiting in someone else's face; that scene is just the one I go back to the most. I don't know why, but the act of projectile vomiting on someone's face just makes me laugh so hard. The cutest one is a mom laying down and bouncing a baby on her chest while trying to get her to talk, and the baby throws up in the mom's mouth, and then giggles. LOL! I get the idea, and I like it... But some parts were too overacted.

As a depressed person I hate this kind of happy go lucky "you're awesome, you're okay" sorta approach. And just because you suffered depression, doesn't mean "you get it." You don't get to decide that you understand other people's demons just because your demons are labelled in the same manner.
