I think the Calafiori doubt will probably be the amount of money they have to pay up front, rather than the actual total.

Arsenal waste a lot of time when it comes to signing. This is how they will be dilly dallying and Chelsea will snap up calafiori. When we bought Kiwior, he hasn’t done anything worth taking note of and all of a sudden, we splashed close to 25m on him. They should Just pay up the money and look for a way to sell Kiwior and one of tomi and zinny.. Calafiori will come good. If he comes, he will play the left back role. Similar to what Ake and josko does for city.

Bologna have to pay Basle 50% of the transfer fee over 5m. Talk seems to be saying working out fee over a longer period with a slight increase. Worth the money.

Slow transfer window for AFC but Soames,Elneney,Tavares are out and others following who are just not good enough clearing the deadwood is long overdue and just as important as bringing in two or three more top players.

Q - I placed a bet on your prediction that Kai Havertz would win the Euros Golden Boot, but luckily i covered it by betting that Bukayo Saka would only have 1 effort on target all tournament. The issue with Williams is his wage demands and knock on effect on others. Looking for 200 to 250 grand a week.

All our deals are in doubt until they happen 😮. Cali is fine by me bar his injury record. Is he going to consistently be available and fit enough with 2 years of contract to go not to damage his sell on value duecto injury record. Not just his knee but soft tissue issues are bit of a red flag 😢.

If Bologna are holding out for more than £45m, Chelsea are welcome to him. Nobody was talking about Calafiori before the Euros. We still have great depth in defence without Calafiori, so i’m fine if we move on to other targets.

28 is stop gap. We have waited too long and missed Gumaeries etc letting Xhaka go 2 years too soon too perhaps . We didn't have endless cash or ability to spend it but Vieira Laconga and Tavares money on a younger midfielder 2 years ago? Hindsight a great thing but squad evolution has missed a step. Partey is now a crock we hopefully move on. Lets see what happens next few weeks. It won't be ideal but far from panic mode.

Arsenal should not pay stupid money for Calafiori. If Bologna doesn't want to sell him at a reasonable price, Arsenal should walk away. Very good player, no doubt, but not worth paying over the odds.

Something in me doesn't see Mikel Morino as the right player we should go for now. I don't think he makes us have that elite midfield that we want as Arsenal fans genuinely speaking. I believe there are better midfielders we can go for but Arsenal could go back to their old ways of doing things the Mikie Mouse style 😉

Calafiori will be another Isak. One we passed on, but then get interested again a year down the road, but now the asking price has doubled. Sometimes, you have to take the gamble.

No Calafiori will be on the injury table in a years time and hopefully not with us. You can talk of Isak but he is another who was coming off a bad season but also a lot of injury issues himself.

@@1987simple1987 I think you really need to trust Arteta and Edu's judgement more Popeye especially when it comes to new signings who 3 weeks ago you'd never heard of as they're far more aware of players medical records than you are. These are the people who you've been behind and fully supported from day one and it's not as if they've ever made a disaster signing or bought an injury prone player before is it? Look at Cedric, Tomiyasu, Zinchenko, Vieria, Timber, Jesus and of course Kiwior. Trust the Process - Trust Riccardo Calafiori ☝

I got 9/2 odds that you'd post that same comment for the 174th time this week Popeye, 9/2!!! I can understand the doubt in Calafiori with that injury, but the fact that he has returned to a high level says a lot about him and his work ethic. Also he's on 15K a week so even if we quadruple that, it's still relatively low wages. That's definitely a risk worth taking.

For 50 million is kind of a hefty price tag, a 40/45 million should be the real price tag for such an injury struck player. Meanwhile our anchorman in defense William Saliba also faced a similar injury crisis right, but our Medical team made him much more better. ❤️🤍
