Headliners Sorry brought their gritty alt rock sound to The Club and showcased a set that brimmed with gems from their debut album 925 and sparkled with hints of new music. Speaking about their time at The Close Encounter Club, they say, “It was really nice to play the songs! It looked really cool and everyone was lovely. Slightly odd with the cameras and not playing to many people but all in all a good time!”
Their performance welcomed back some much missed normality for the band who say on the Covid-19 situation and their creativity, “It’s hard to be that inspired when life isn’t really revolving! But I guess
it is what it is so just got to work with, but it’s weird, and not playing shows and not being able to tour 925.” But things are looking up as they tell us, “We’re planning to record another record over the summer which will be really fun and we look forward to making lots of music and playing shows!”
