In this compilation of his CV Stories, Ryan Giggs talks exclusively about both ends of his long association with Manchester United - both as a player and then, ultimately, as the club's caretaker manager.
In Chapter 1, he reveals his first meeting with Sir Alex Ferguson, breaking into the first team at Old Trafford as a teenager, and the impact of Eric Cantona as he was part of the team that won the first Premier League season - United's first league title for 26 years.
In Chapter 2, the current Wales head coach talks in depth about the United team that won an historic treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in the 1998/99 season. He goes on to explain his late-career shift into central midfield before his eventual move into coaching - which included a spell in charge of the first team after the departure of David Moyes.

A legend for united for sure. He eclipsed George best with his longevity. And then adapted his game with age and professionalism. Learnt from the best in ferguson and was part of time that the club saw its greatest success in its history.

Giggsy's record is fuckin unbelievable, the amount of premier league winners medals will never be beaten, ever. He was there through all the Fergie years & won everything there is. I will never forget that goal against Arsenal in extra time in the FA cup. Legend is a big word but he truly deserves to be called it for his longevity & trophies won.

Beckham is another personal favourite, his talent was always over shadowed by all the celebrity newspaper nonsense. But in terms of precision delivery & assists, he was right up there for me.

Giggs should have at least won a ballon d'or in his career, he was one of a kind there was no other left winger like him. He was so crucial in that treble winning team. If luka modric can win something like that so giggs in his peak was so much better than modric.

That was a surprise. Intended to watch 1min. From this interview Giggs comes across really well. It's hard to know what he did as it really has defined him rather than his incredible career. Sad

Hated giggs initially as a leeds fan in early 90s but "wow" what a talent and grew on me. Great roll model as well playing well into 30s. Legend. Here's one for mufc fans, would fergie have made a mid table championship team into title winners and then take more or less the same team into mid table premiership?. Bielsa done miracles with average players and not had it on a plate as did fergie. What think yeah??.

Ole understands football better than giggs. Everyone in that team always names ole as the one who would succeed as a manager. Even Ferguson said it. There is a reason that Ferguson contacted ole to be the caretaker. He was the only former player who had any managerial ability
