Your point 6 is absolutely wrong. If you take the average pay of software dev in india in top tech companies, and adjust PPP then also the salaries won't be able to match US pay and forget about saving, you save a lot in US than india (depends upon your life style) A thread I found on x which say approx top 1.5% devs salary in India is same as 50% of devs in US (Adjusted to PPP)
