This is fantastic. Unfortunately HEMA won't take off as a spectator sport (and get really popular) until tournaments work out the problems with filming bouts. It's just too fast to follow w/o a very good replay system. It's complicated because the judges need to get the best angles to see the fight, but that means they frequently obscure the action.

You mean they don't follow a treatise exactly for every play? Obviously not, those techniques are specifically something you can use in a given situation should the opportunity arise, not every single cut, thrust or parry is going to exactly follow a medieval manuscript.
