It has been only about 20 hours since the video was published and I can already see 630+ comments. I don't think I have something unique to say at this point. TCF team is probably the most talented bunch of comedians I have ever seen live, and that includes all the over-popular Hindi and English speaking comedians. All my Gujarati friends who have a good taste in music/movies/media-in-general, agree with that. I know that there is nothing about comedy, media-production and media-consumption habits of the audience, that I know and the TCF team doesn't know already, but I would like to just point a few things out, whether they are useful or not.. 1) Don't take your Google/KZfaq Analytics dashboard seriously. That piece of software isn't designed for our people. Most people who love your content, keep coming back every now and then to watch your videos. They only occasionally give a thumbs up or leave an encouraging comment. That's just because that's not their habit. Especially the people who are watching on a mobile device, won't be interested in leaving comments - and the mobile interface is such that they will probably never develop that habit in future. 2) Just because a lot of people said "no maja aavi" in the comments, don't assume that the video was bad. These are probably the same people who paid money to watch Race 3 in theaters. It is very unfortunate for a country this vast, that often the only voices/feedback the artists receive, comes from the crowd for which the content wasn't made in the first place. You can't create content for people with rich taste and expect someone who loves Salman Khan to react "majjaa aavi" on the same video. It's not going to happen. Stop trying too hard to please everybody. Focus on the right audience. The very reason you guys were able to pull-off a successful tour of Australia and USA, is that your "right" audience loves you. Keeping them happy, should be the first priority, for they are the loyal ones. 3) What Deep said in the video is true. 99% of the time, if you like a video online, you won't spend any time to comment on it. You will just assume that the creator will continue publishing more such videos and you move on. Standard Indian psychology. I don't know where these Salman Khan lovers get the energy from, to post comments on EVERY TCF video. PLEASE DISREGARD THESE PEOPLE. I will give you an example. Some time back, TCF had published a video : "Paras Parkour" starring Ojas as a parkour instructor. It was very innovative at the time for a Gujarati comedy channel to make a video on something that has even remotely nothing to do with "being Gujarati". The video was brilliant! Me and my Gujju friends here in Melbourne laughed our asses out, but I am sure none of us left a positive, encouraging comment on that video (and we regret that) But you get the point.. 4) It is very common for content creators to occasionally rush the production process in order to meet certain deadlines. We get that. (We = your "right" audience. The rest will post "Worst TCF video ever".) I don't get why the hurry here.. Why do you have to post a new video every week? Take your time. Good things often take time. They should. I send my pizza back if it arrives in first 20 minutes of me ordering it. There have been some videos published in the past, that seemed rushed. Doesn't mean they were bad videos, but they are exactly the kind of videos that attract such negative comments ("worst video" etc) - and then Manan would read those comments over and over and then get upset. Personally, what I would like you to have/do before/during video production is, have a stronger QA process in place - for everything : script, direction, sound, etc. That will add up to the time and hence the cost, but at least you (and everyone) will have this feeling of satisfaction. I will probably edit this comment later (if I can) to add more such points if anything comes to my mind.. but for now, this is it. I hope the new addition(4 guys introduced in this video) to the TCF team lives up to the expectations and helps take Gujarati comedy to newer heights. Direct message to the new guys introduced in the video : If these talented, experienced guys have chosen YOU, If they trust YOU with their credit and reputation, to perform alongside them (on the very platform THEY CREATED), then you have something in you that they were able to see. That means you are special. Never lose confidence in yourself and keep working hard. Make them feel proud! Your audience will notice and remember you automatically! All the best 👍

*Honest opinion and feedback for you guys.* First of all, I like this channel and have a soft spot in my heart for it because you have revolutionized Gujarati Urban Comedy. You are doing a very good job by experimenting various forms and I really appreciate your efforts in it. I have also enjoyed Surat Live Show a lot. My favourite parts of this Channel: - Movies for Gujjus - Vichitrahar - Creative Videos with Songs - Creative Videos with Phrases like Nikdi Gayo Chhu, Jati Rehje etc. - Explicit Content like Katko It seems like Manan is losing his temper over negative comments & criticism. He wants to find out a way to improve and conquer throne again. I am so glad that you are rethinking the way Channel works and you are executing new creative ideas. As one of your honest audiences, I feel responsible and find it necessary to open up your eyes. I would like to point out some of the things that personally bug me sometimes. Hope you keep your mind open, blood pressure low and accept it with open arms. :) Criticism: - I know you are doing the very best you can to serve quality content but guys, cinematography lacks in quality in some of your videos, especially songs. Again, I know you are already spending a lot of money on production value but you know just an honest opinion. - Sometimes some of those videos have kinda bad scripts and I lose interest in the middle. Again, I know you guys work very hard but just for your improvement and reference, I would like to suggest you to check out BeYouNick. I have been following him since he had like less super less subs and now he's a thing because of those twists and script magic. I am not comparing you with anyone, just giving you a good quality content reference that youth loves these days. I am not saying your content is entirely bad, just lacks in raising excitement sometimes. -You have already personal popular phrases, I suggest you to utilize them and not overdo them. Let audience overuse them instead. They will start trending even outside of KZfaq comments, I promise. - Start using light accents and various local dialects from multiple regions of Gujarat instead of using pure and strong Gujarati. It makes stuff sound a little serious sometimes. I know you don't really use pure Gujarati but you know sometimes it feels a little extra punchy and pure. Just like a teacher trying to teach a language. Things I don't want you to jump on in future: - Please, I am into witty and good quality humor. You are already doing a very good job in that department. In the desperation of competing with other channels, don't lose your authentic touch and never degrade your content. - By that, I mean *No No* to those cliché channels like BB Ki Vines, Jiggli and Khajoor, Kapil Sharma or whatever! - Never interchange genders and make comedy. *Male must stay Male, female must stay female.* IMO. - No insult comedy like Kapil. (Exception: Roast) I really want you to be super successful and no matter what other people say, I will always be by your side. I am not a huge critic or anything, just one of your regular audiences and audience is ftw. I hope it helps you to get some clarity in the direction you are heading. Its 581 comments already before i write this one. But i totally understand the Manan's (team's) frustration he might be going through. They are trying best to balance between old subscribers and getting new one . There is nothing wrong in getting frustrated or irritated about it because 1) It feels bad when u loose people even after such hard work and 2) its a human emotion. But all i can say is we can't control any of those. For all the loyal fans, they will never leave the channel no matter what. As Chirayu said you guys are doing live shows, international shows, arrange shows for other comedy artists and also youtube videos, as a fan i understand the work pressure you must be going through and a big applause for that. Such phase's has been experienced by all. From the biggest actors to a new comers. All i want to say is some of ur videos are good, some are very good. Keep up the good work. There are many gujarati youtuber like “ Dhaval Domadiya” which have around 800k subsribers and he only do comedy in gujarati so it means there are around 1M active gujjus on youtube but you have very less subscribers as you have reach only in surat,ahemdabad, baroda, mehsana...you dont have many followers from saurastra except big city as Rajkot..so your presence is lacking in west gujarat “ suwrastra” ..you can focus there to increase subscribers by making content which make them happy.
