Great Wolford is a small village near Moreton in Marsh and Shipston on Stour. It's name is derived from a 'safe place against wolves' - Robin tells the full story.

I’ve been enjoying your videos for a few years and really appreciate the wonderful views of the Cotswolds. This episode has revealed to me the possible name place of my fraternal great fathers family; Wohlford. Thanks so much. Lynn Thomason Naples FL PS- I would love for you to spend a little longer in these amazing ‘little gems’. 8 or 9 mins is just not enough of your wonderful work. 😎

Congratulations on your upcoming book! I asked about this in a previous (haunting stories) video, so I'm so pleased to see that you went ahead with the project. I'm sure it will be lovely and I look forward to my copy. All the best from haunted Victoria, B.C.!

Adore that stone. Thought it was copperas for a bit. I’d leave that Akubra be, it’s the perfect lid.

I'm glad to hear you are doing your own version of the 1905 book. Will it be independently published? Will it be available on my side of the pond?

Lovely little village. Sadly no pub after the current owners ran it into the ground and closed it down to make it residential.

Just an observation but where are the people? The village is lovely but it's like a ghost town 😌

Behind that derelict farm is probably a missing will and lots of legal wrangling.
