I meant absolutely no offense by including "the Government" in the video's title. That was just some silly mess. You know those video titles... "Top 5 House Hacks the Electric Company Does NOT Want You To Know (Number 3 made me have to go outside.)". I want to apologize to all the government employees I have upset. Never would I have imagined so many DID want to know these tricks. Popsicle stick idea is brilliant! I normally spend so much time with my "traditional" sculpting tools trying to get the same effect. YOU HAVE SAVED ME SO MUCH TIME!

Crafsman! This is a great tutorial as always! You can also use Vaseline to smooth and even in place of sculpey softener. Also, after you bake a piece you can brush on Vaseline, wipe the excess off with a paper towel and then add more sculpey to it. It'll stick to the original sculpey like glue! I use this technique after I bake the form I want so I can then add details without messing up the sculpture.

I've got to admit, while I'm not surprised at using Vaseline as a smoother, I wouldn't have expected it to help as an adhesive...

I'm a visual artist, and focus mainly on digital and 2D pieces because I just couldn't figure out clay and sculpting. This video honestly gave me some nice pointers!
