These trees are so beautiful! I have to admit that the red tree, as you were assembling it, was not really sitting right with me. But boy did that change once I seen it completed. I thought it was going to be too busy looking, but it definitely turned out beautiful. The fur tree says masculine to me - I love it!! The 2nd tree looked so easy to do! That was a mistaken assumption! We tried hot glue just as you did and each one broke apart. 😤🤬 ended up redoing the whole thing and used wood glue. Over night drying tine, then started to assemble it together and we still had to be very careful so they wouldn't break again. Finally got it all assembled and need to decorate it. Yikes! Won't be making any more of those!😅

Hi Wanda, sorry to hear you had a problem. I didn't use hot glue on any jenga blocks crafts unless it's a piece or 2. Not a whole build. I never suggest using hot glue with the blocks because they don't seal properly together and they will eventually fall apart. I only ever recommend is any type of wood glue.

Hi Maria, putting the paper towel mache on some of my crafts are for different reasons. Since you commented on this post I assume the red tree your talking about. I used it to give a better hold as the corners aren't flushed with each other and stacking layers (shelves on them and items) you want to make sure it's solid.

Part hot glue and wood glue, just don't let them touch each other.
