Ive made the cut off paint stir stick handles into little milk bottles. A gift for my friend who loves cows, was a print out of three cows laying in a field. The one corner was kind of blah. Milk bottles to the rescue! It took five of them, two in the back (starting right in the lower left hand corner) glued to the picture. The other three got glued on top of the lower left corner of the frame at the bottom and overlapped the other two bottles. My frame was 1 1/4 inches wide so the front bottles were 1 1/4 inches lower than the back ones. I was really happy how it turned out! It created a bit of a 3D’ed look and covered the blah. Id send a pic but it was one of those “omg i forgot her birthday was coming up!” moments. It got wrapped as soon as the paint and mod podge was dried and shipped out! Thanks for all the ideas! 😊

I have made some too hold silverware, teas, crafting supplies, so many cute ideas. You can make alot, just look at the can, your home theme and ideas come. Add some cute rope, flowers and you have a flower container. 👍👍

It's more personable, and taking our feedback into consideration makes me want to help your channel succeed. Some crafters are just too big for their bitches. Just when some of us are getting an inferiority complex, I learn that there's a whole team of assistants, lighting expert/ photographers, hair stylist and makeup artist behind them, yet they couldn't take the time or spring for someone to answer questions or even say thank you, ignoring every single question and comment. Their audiences don't realize it but they react more negatively by pointing out the flaws, criticizing certain pieces, giving backhanded compliments and giving their two cents on how they'd do it better- which is fine but they're speaking harshly. I'm not trying to complement you by bringing negative shade on other people. It's just that it's more than a craft video, we're spending time with the person doing the craft. Ignoring us feels like rejection from a friend. Lol I know this sounds cliche, but don't ever change!

These are cute and totally adaptable. I think im going to do something like your clipboard idea with my classroom ones. Maybe pick 4 themes so I can randomly team them up as well. This may also prevent vandalism since they will be super cute.

You know what, I have been making stuff out of those dollar store vinyl stickers etc for years now, and I absolutely LOVE everything you made... Dollar tree has these new wire and plastic organizers/bins for spring. I love the pastel moss green, these would look really cute coordinated with your muted soft green painted jar lids. I've also got the pink Camilla floral decals but didn't know what to do with them, cutting them in half is brilliant! I'd love it if you could do a vid on creating a coffee bar (or hot cocoa/dessert cart, corner or nook). Complete with a little flag banner, pastries under domed cloches, mason jar sugar & creamer- the whole nine. See I've got some cute pastel dollar tree frosted donut decals I've been holding on to, along with other diner items but I just can't seem to get started. This is a great video, so I think you'd be the perfect crafter to pull it off -thanks for the inspiration today!

I fell in love with all of the crafts on this video. Also the first time I have seen anyone use the decals from DT. If it's OK may I make a suggestion for the 3 yellow tin cans. If it were me I would cut a couple of circles of felt to put in the bottom of each one to help save the tips of your scissors and pens and pencils. Thank you for sharing such a great video ❤🎉❤

I am brand new to your channel and I love your decal ideas I have enjoyed working with the decals from dollar tree as well and had not thought of some of your clever ideas so thank you for the inspiration. I also just wanted to caution you on giving your dog the paint sticks I ended up having to take our Chihuahua to the vet not knowing what was wrong with her. The vet found splinters in the back of her tongue and gums and worst of all through her esophagus. He actually suggested that we have her put to sleep as he said he didn’t know if the surgery that would be required would be successful and that the recovery could be complicated.She did well with the surgery but her recovery was horrible. We had to go back to the vet twice. she ended up needing to have a drainage tube put in the side of her neck so that the fluids that were causing infection could drain out. It was quite an ordeal she did survive and is doing well now. We are glad to still have her but we are not glad to have the astronomical vet bill that we are still dealing with.

Here's an easy technique I use to remove staples from those Dollar Tree canvases. I start with a small flat-heat screwdriver--mine came from a Dollar Tree mini screwdriver set--and force the tip of it under the staple, Then I twist the screwdriver back and forth until the staple is partially out. Then I take some mini wire cutters that are for jewelry making that I got at Michael's a long time ago, and I grab the staple with it and pull it out. This usually works very well for me. I bet you could just use needle-nose pliers instead of those wire cutters I mentioned, and it would probably work, though I have never tried this.

these were cool ideas. Especially liked the reverse canvas with the boho stickers. Going to do that one. I did kind of the same thing with cans but used the "wallpaper" that is gold and white. Then I cut circles from the DT cork sheets and stuck them in the bottom of the cans, so my pens and stuff had a 'softer' surface to sit on.

Only one thing. Sage us a green. Teal us way more blue. Aside from that bone thing that kept poking at my crafter heart... Everything was very pretty. It's just there's such a MASSIVE color difference between Sage and Teal... like, it's really really that big of a difference.

Giiiiirl...DTs canvasses are SOOOOO IRRITATING to take apart now, like you said. I had 4 to take apart and not only were they EXACTLY like u said, but I needed to take a cpl of mine completely apart, separating the wood too because it was so crookedly put together, and not only did they have staple, but nails in them too! So it took a good hr or so to take apart 4 canvasses! Ridiculous. Also, gotta watch the wood itself! Some wood is good, others are discolored and crappy. Just a FYI! Ty for all the inspiration youre sharing with all of us! ❤❤
