I’ve had the Athaan go off in the middle of doing a root canal 🦷 for a patient🙈 Was fully committed, couldn’t really do much to switch it off. Good conversation starter I guess 😬

I don't think it's a matter of choosing between dunya and akhira... I believe doing the prayer the sooner is the best but when you're committed with others and the time span of delay (30min ) is within the time of prayer time then it won't be a problem.... And Allah is the most merciful Again the sooner and the most sincere is the better

I had the azaan go off during a project meeting during Grad school. What I loved was my team telling me to let it play and not to silence it.

If thats the reason you're an outcast, Allah knew those particular coworkers would influence you to do Haram. Them ignoring you, is because Allah's going to give you awesome Muslim friends Insha'Allah. As well as non Muslim friends, who live their lives whilst accepting who you are. Just my personal experience.

I think in UK you have the total right by law to have short break for pray in your work environment you dont have to leave it can't be that bad !

@@didocarthage1761 @Dido Karthage bro, that break is the same break everyone gets to use, irrespective of their faith, and that break is primarily for their lunch, or to chill and socialise etc, e.g. some like to enjoy their cigarettes, whilst the Muslim is flapping and rushing around the building as he has to go pray and then try squeeze a cold meal into their short break.. But ends up always being late But I concede, it really does depend on the job you do 🤷🏾‍♂️ But in the middle east everyone gets their break and they have their time for prayer by praying in the mosque, not awkward and alone (unless you fortunately have a fellow akhi as a colleague in UK) A place where my job is never in conflict with my faith, so definitely a place I wanna be living in for at least a decade

Well to be honest that's borderline unprofessional... I sort my meetings and everything as per namaaz...So in practical life my team doesn't keep a team call or a meet at 1 or 2 if I tell them so ...and take a 10 minute break out of the 20 mandated for everyone in the office for Asar. Just a little bit of planning and you are sorted.

I think is to do with being organised if I commit to meeting I'd have to put my phone silent and if I need to pray I'd let them know in advance that i would need a break and I'd leave discreetly without disturbing the flow of the meeting I think that's fair and would look better on me as good Muslim being respectful to everyone around me and not looking so disorganised.

The Chinese businessman "Who is playing that Arabian music?"it literally made me lol. I have Chinese friends who are innocently oblivious to religion, not due to ignorance but lack of education and discussion on the matter in China. They would probably say exactly this!

Lack of education is ignorance, it's the very definition of the word. Also, China is a Marxist Leninist state and also by definition a godless society as is Vietnam. So as a good Communist, religion is not an option, you can't serve both. The goal of Marxism is to abolish all religions with state atheism. Communism is anti religion, this is fairly common knowledge.

Appreciate the video is just for entertainment but most Muslims who work in City don't act like this. In fact my experience has been that they are very dedicated to their work and will never ignore that aspect. They ensure they attend the meeting or do their bit and soon after take few minutes to fulfil their obligations. I feel it is important to share this because Muslims are generally not treated the same at work and often have to work twice as hard to prove themselves and yet are always under appreciated.

Islam is the simplest religion, dont make it difficult. Even in a workplace you don't need to run for prayer, the only one you need to run to is magrib the rest it can wait till before the athan of the next. As for azhan yeah that happens alot everywhere.

What's the purpose of this.? Salaah and practising out Islamic tenants are easily practised anywhere including work and it doesn't disturb this much this is clearly exaggerated. Besides what's wrong with Muslims praying during work. We get the job done that's the main thing. Other staff smoke, listen to music, entertain endless stupid gossiping and slanders be on their phones etc too on top not get the job done so what's the motive here I'm missing the point.

Disliked the video, I thought it was making mockery of my faith. We Muslims don't like to cause nuisance, so my ringtone is always on silent and low vibration if there is prayer we don't sabotage a meeting we can wait 30 minutes and then pray or talk to meeting host pre meetings. Don't say chill, this is comedy. To me this is mockery.
