Hi, new DM here. My players have decided they are going to Barovia after Dragon of Ice Spire Peak. Besides the Blinski dolls, I have not a single none combat encounter. Thanks to this, a novice DM takes another step towards experience. Thank you, and I hope you get to test your encounters as a DM yourself or as an "unsuspecting" player.

These random encounter series are very good! I found this one in particular especially useful. I'm definitely use the evil cat one. Please make a part 2 for barovia in the future

Again, I really like your mind and content. Definitely one of the best in giving easily accessible information and tools for us DMs. I was wondering if you could do a video on interesting dungeon puzzles or encounters. Maybe around some specific themes (Lich dungeon, water temple, forgotten tomb, etc.)? I know these take a while and are creatively difficult. I deeply appreciate your help in touching up my homebrew campaign in the areas where I am lacking. Wishing you the best

Thanks for the kind words and the suggestion! I can take a shot at some puzzles/encounters for themed dungeons. That sounds like a very useful idea

I give Barovia a 2/10. Lack of prey, how hard it is to keep 800 plus years of memory without the dirty water, lack of prey, weird people leaving there body parts laying around, a jar prank gone too far... Well at least the wine is god... Did I mention I don't like lack of prey? I really hate that about this place.

@@TheCuriousOwlbear I have shared your channel with the few people i know that still play d&d. i don't know how to get your work more out there. there are a lot of d&d channels out there but i find your encounter series of videos to be extremely entertaining, and with far more useful and practical content than the others
