I just called the (non-emergency line) at the NLVPD to voice my outrage over this and they are not happy about “the UTube channel” that has released this video again! She stated she had a 911 call she had to take care of as well and put me on hold, “WOW”, they have to use 911 dispatch to take non-emergency calls! This was a disgrace on the NLVPD, not only for you but what they did to your daughters!

Yeah I used lived at LV . I am white (Italian) DEAF also , Theses policemen did it same thing to me while I had My Mom is hearing, was with me in my car, her age was around 90 years old, I was the driver , police talked to My Mom, I had to stop the police not to talk to her, Talk to me but He gave me the ticket for speeding!Nah I was not speeding at all, and went to the court to prove, The judge let me go n drop the charge, If I was a black that’s for sure they will dare to do anything, I pray the systems in policeDept needs to change ! It is 2021 !

I just worked on captioning the video of the officers choice to use violence against Dre because she's Deaf for a different KZfaqr. I'm so glad she's OK, and I hope that she can set up a GoFundMe or something similar so she can afford to go after the NLVPD, the officers, and the city of North Las Vegas for everything their worth for brutalizing her and traumatizing her children.

I need to know what really happened that you saw cop and you pulled over and did the cop say something to you?Why did the cop stop you ?did you break the law? Or did someone call 911. What ever the reason?I rather you explained it.? None make no sense on news.

I had been seen the news about Andrea “Dre” Hollingsworth with two hearing children in the car in nighttime I was shocked that the police did not treat her well no accommodations to have communication That was really shame on the police officer. No matter what we are I don’t care but most importantly is that WE are HUMAN BEINGS Make sure that we treat each other respect and dignity, period. Wish her good luck to have lawsuit against the police officer for violating the ADA. Hopefully, cross fingers! Never use the hearing children to interpret The ethic of code stated that will not allow the children to interpret for deaf parents. Even hearing sibling should not interpret for deaf client at doctor’s office. Get the interpreter or VRI (video relaying interpreter) Must provide a certified interpreter, period.

Why has no one asked some basic questions like when your landlord called the police to report her harrassment, did he tell them you are also deaf? I know that both tenants and landlords have a responsibility to follow laws created to protect both sides. You have a responsibility as the tenant to give advanced notice that you intend to move out of your dwelling. So in other words, just because you decide to pick up and leave doesn't mean the landlord owes you back money. He still has to pay bills on the place you are renting. Could this be why he refused to give you back your rent money and called the police when you show up with your kids harassing him for money? I suspect so. You armed yourself with a video that is being cherry picked for a claim of police abuse, and I agree they should have detained you until an interpreter was made available, not use your children. But I also see that you know what you are doing, and are manipulating the situation in your favor. I worked with the deaf, and it is very sad to see you using this to cause fear and anger amongst your peers. Being black, or being deaf doesn't excuse you from threatening your landlord either. There are 2 sides to this and I fully expect the truth to come out soon. Causing fear and hate of the police instead of setting an example for your children is also very scary. I hope and pray for change and better understanding on all sides of these issues, but when everything is always about suing the police for money instead of reaching out to better help ower communities things will only get ugly and cause more division.
