Imagine you're interviewing one of your heroes and in the middle of that, the person says you're carrying on the legacy of a sorely-missed juggernaut of your field. The minute she got some privacy, I bet she either cried, screamed, or both at the same time. Anyway, I hope that hearing from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar about activism helps more folks get involved.

Top Notch choice in requesting Mr. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to speak. He certainly embodies humility, respect, reverence, honors History, intelligence in every category shown, joviality, and clearly kindness. I love the banner under his name: *NBA LEGEND* That's all you need to know about this man. I had the privilege of watching him scrimmage some of my team (the Suns) and the rookies/tryouts during a hot summer day in Phoenix at Veterans Memorial Coliseum as a kid. They would hold Rookie Camps there, because (I'm dating myself) it was one of the newest facilities of its kind. This man created so many amazing memories for basketball fans. I love Kareem. His being or not being a Muslim has nothing to do with it. He’s just a great person, educated, personable, and when he articulates he always paints a picture. I Love how he passed the torch to LaBron and gave an example of how he admires him as a philanthropist. He’s the epitome of a high value man. Never a scandal and very peaceful. I wish there were more men like him. If the lakers were playing, I’d be late or not make it to church on Sunday. That sky hook was like no other. When he jumped and extended his arm the ball was traveling downward to the basket so they’d always call goal tending if anyone attacked the ball after it left his hand/ finger tips. The man is a living legend.

I loved Sarah interview style. At first I thought it was awkward but actually I loved Sarah's organic energy. Sarah has such a beautiful energy and that Robin Williams compliment to Sarah from Kareem was such a gem 💎 Sarah will grow and appreciate that later.

Give the Show to Silverman !!!! She's clearly the best behind the desk .. She's NOT over the top in her delivery and she's quite smart

She said on her podcast that she doesn’t want to. She just did this week for fun. Leslie Jones said the same thing. So those 2 are out.

I was a huge Celtics fan in the 80's. I always said "Beat LA" with pride. I am also proud to say that I Love Kareem. He is a true inspiration. Thank you Captain for being the greatest.

Kareem is too often overlooked when people talk about basketball GOATs. He is also a very intelligent and thoughtful man.

What a profoundly Human being Kareem is! I so admire him and how he's spent his life's work trying to make this a better place. Love Sarah as a host, too. She has the potential to bring back some of the gravitas of the Stewart years.
