The kid has courage. It's not easy to argue a case with someone who is a master in rhetorics and has the crowd with him. That in itself merits some credit.

A lot of people here are making fun of this guy and calling him a soy boy, virgin, etc., but even though us conservatives wouldn't necessarily agree with his stance, we have to respect him for trying to have a civil, productive conversation. We don't like when liberals scream words like 'racist' and 'homophobe' when we try to hold a civil discussion, so why scream insults to them when they finally hold a civil discussion. We can't stoop to their level.

He was getting frustrated because he possibly felt like the crowd was laughing at him, but that's to be expected. Welcome to being a conservative on Bill Maher's show...or virtually any political show for that matter. At least Ben didn't go all Whoopie on him and go on a rant and then tell him "goodbye". Generally speaking, conservatives let you speak, leftists don't. It's really that simple.

This kid was great. I wish that he had more chances to get his point though... He didn't blame Shapiro with being racist, he wanted clarification about it. I have a lot more respect for him than the protestors outside. Wish more leftists were open for debate like that.

The"Shreds" description should be only used for audience members who are so far Left that they are incapable of being reasoned with. This kid was polite and genuine in his questioning (although perhaps misinformed). We need MORE dialog like this, and having such a blunt title (with a clear intent to shame this kid) for a relatively respectful conversation does not help manifest future dialog.
