I totally agree with everything that Reggie Miller said about The Overall NBA GOAT. As DP so eloquently stated, Jerry West was, in so many ways, the representation of The NBA. I'm old enough to even have seen Jerry West play. I remember him bringing the ball down and making the right pass or taking the right shot. If there had been a 3 point line in Jerry West's days, he would have been even more phenomenal. Then after having an illustrious career, he moved into the front office and built some of THE GREATEST teams in NBA. Rest in eternal peace Mr. NBA. A life very well lived and will never ever be forgotten. 👑🏀👏🙏

Patrick and Miller, if the organizing committee only picks 10 players out of the current line-up and adds 2 high school girls, Team USA would still be the best team. So, instead of adding 2 HS girls why not add Caitlin? Talking of the best players, Taurasi is 42 years old. Compare Taurasi and Caitlin's stats after the first 10 games. Tell me who's the better player?

No one has ever suggested that Luka can play a fast paced game as that is not his game. Great player but no one ( but staunch fans of the Mavs) would suggest that is something that fits with him. Not a knock because it is a typical example of why different teams are better built to beat others.

Milwaukee Bucks and the Golden State Warriors handed the Boston Celtics the Championship this season with the roster they have. Bucks should've kept Jrue Holiday and traded someone else to Portland for Damian Lillard. Warriors should've traded for Kristaps Porzingis (who was on the Washington Wizards) instead of getting Chris Paul.

It's already the Olympics, they don't need any (additional) exposure. Just excellent, fundamentally-sound, turnover-averse, drama-free, professional women basketball players. CC doesn't qualify on most of those counts, if you haven't been paying attention.

Is it safe to say finally that Lebron James is toxic, and coaches want to stay away. Because they know they will get blamed when the team doesn't succeed. Which it won't, because Lebron gets the players he wants, and he's not a good GM. Not a good enough player anymore, and he doesn't want to share the spotlight. He doesn't want to be a second fiddle. The Lakers top pick right now is a recently retired player who has no coaching experience. And there isn't a lack of good coaches around. One of them was coaching the team this past year. I don't think the Lakers can be successful as long as Lebron is there.

They have to keep the narrative that is fed to them about CC. If theyve won 7 gold medals, then they can afford to allow her to practice, take notes from vets, etc. You're telling me Turasi at 42 yrs old, or Griner who has only played a handful of games are better? Its all jealousy and politics. Also, they claim she needs rest? Shes 22 yrs old, definitely think shes in shape to sit down But lets also be real here, if CC was black, DP and Reggie would be all for her to be on the team.

Do you want more fans and more money or do you want women's basketball to be obscure? As a business decision, she should be on the team. And I am not a women's basketball fan at all. I've read articles and watched some highlight clips. Do you think Team USA could win without Briner who has only played two games. Another player hasn't even played. I'd take them both off and put in CC and Reese. Reese is probably the best offensive rebounder in the league.
