Awesome reaction, thank you for doing it. The entire Chemical Wedding album by Bruce is magnificent. As for Bruce's solo career... Bruce did some experimentation, such as with Skunkworks. That album is either loved or hated. Accident of Birth and the 2 albums that followed were Bruce's return to metal. Accident is metal without being Maiden, if that makes sense. Chemical Wedding is something else. It's very far from Maiden but Bruce really came into his own. Tyranny of Souls is also excellent.

I love Bruce's stuff. The Tower and Chemical Wedding are my favs. Bruce has is his own version Bring Your Daughter, and I still dont know why he and Maiden would have a disagreement over that song. 😅

Solo projects of musicians from various top rock/metal bands are cool in any case. This gives people the opportunity to get a fresh wave in their creativity, find new experiences, and eventually even prevent the collapse of the collective. As an example, Richard Kruspe from Rammstein founded the Emigrate project. This idea came to him during the recording of the album Mutter, when the contradictions in the band reached a dangerous point. He went his own way in a solo career, but remained a member of the band.

good reaction david. as for as who writes most of the maiden songs now i thought it was harris also but i recently read jannick gers writes a lot of the stuff now . have a great day!!!

The ending is a little strange maybe because it's leading directly into the next song. If you listen to the album, it makes sense.

Greetings from florida I don’t wanna say this but I have to, any Bruce Dickinson álbum is heavier than any Iron Maiden and you’re right I was typing this comment and you just said it, Bruce doesn’t sound anything like maiden, all the albums specially chemical weddings which is awesome and raw. This is awesome, this guys is maiden period. Great reaction dave!. God bless

When this album and song were released, Bruce was still out of Maiden.

I like all of Bruce's solo albums, but this one and the follow up are his most popular. Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden plays guitar on them and they really developed a unique sound with the main writer Roy Z. Especially on the album after this called Chemical Wedding. I'm surprised someone hasn't asked you to react to something from that album. This song was a single with a music video and everything. It's probably the simplest song on the album. I would have chosen something more interesting. I mean it's catchy and gives you an idea of the sound, but doesn't do anything special.
